Apartment vacation rentals in Cayo District

This stay was even more beautiful than the photos! The property was exactly as advertised, and very, very clean, with every amenity you would need for a comfortable stay. Leda and Laura were our hosts, and were extremely helpful in recommending tours and transportation. It was a little far from town (a 25-ish minute walk down a main road), but taxis are easy to flag down and affordable. Would highly recommend this property!!

This was a great apartment to stay in San Ignacio. You get so much for the price - great location, clean and spacious apartment, amenities like 5-gallon water, Marie Sharp's hot sauce, and a fully stocked kitchen. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. I walked everywhere because it's right at the center of it all. I highly recommend this place to stay!

Cannot recommend enough. When we arrived, the AC was on, and upon check out, we didn’t have to do a thing. Location is on the edge of town, so if you’re looking to be right in the heart of things keep that in mind. We loved our stay and would stay again, this is where we would pick every time. The host team gave us great recommendations and were super responsive. Perfect place to jump off for all the adventures, and come home to afterwards.

Marion’s place was perfect for our stay in San Ignacio. It is just up the hill from the main part of town, only 10 minutes away. A peaceful part with local restaurants, grocers and shops. The apartment was perfect, had everything two people would need. A well equipped kitchen and a decent size bathroom and bedroom area.

D's place was lovely. Raf was very kind and helped us with booking a tour to the caves last minute and even gave us info on our next trip to Guatamala. He is a gem and the place was exactly what we expected plus more. Book this place if you would like to explore San Ignacio in a prime location and feel safe. BONUS it us like a 2 min walk to huge grocery store and HODES place which is where all the buses drop off and pick up travelers. Thanks again Raf!

We had a great stay! The apartment has everything you need to feel at home. The location is walkable. You can get groceries and food in under 5 minutes walking, and you can reach The Burnz (main tourist strip), and even laundry service, in about 12 minutes walking. You can also walk to Cahal Pech from here as well. There is a security office downstairs, but even after hours, my daughter and I still felt really safe. Great host, great price, great place, and great location!

un excelente lugar, cómodo, David se preocupo por todo, llegue algo tarde y fue tan amable de dercile al súper mercadito de al lado que si le hacía el favor de pagar con quetzales, no me quejo 5 estrellas!!!

Can't say enough positive things about Adrienne, place was exactly as described and perfect for a get away to San Ignacio. my girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights, did Tikal, ATM Cave and Xunauntich. Easy walk downtown to local restaurants and bars. Highly recommend using Jam-Jam Tours for the ATM cave and Maya Walk for Tikal. Xunauntich is easy enough to take a taxi and view the grounds yourself (will save a lot of money) And make sure to check out Guava Limb, and Ko-Ox Han Nah for dinner. The Sports bar and Grill for cold beer and excellent conch device. Only thing I would say that might not be a plus is there's no kitchen (there is a fridge) so make sure you bring some cutlery if you get food to go! Adrienne even helped us get a ride from the airport and out of town on our way to Placencia

I loved Jeronie’s place! In addition to it being beautiful and lovely, it was very secure. I felt extremely safe traveling in a foreign country by myself. Jeronie called several times to make sure the accommodations were fitting. Also, I got turned around driving and Jeronie stayed on the phone until I reached my destination. When I travel back to Belmopan I will only stay here.

It was a really nice place to stay, nice neighborhood and very spacious. The only thing that I thought was that it would have been nice to know that the housekeepers live just next door and a small personal contact would have been nice (if they're at home). Just to say hi:)

Simply breathtaking. It is way better than it looks in the pictures. Perfectly placed between the Cayo district for cave exploring and tubing, and Guatemala to visit Tikal. The staff were super friendly and helpful every step of the way. They should apply for a Michelin star- the food was AMAZING. I was happy to have my own car because it is not walking distance to any shops, especially once the sun sets. I would definitely come again!

My colleague and I were in Belmopan on a work trip. The Lovely Penthouse was perfect. It had all the amenities we needed, on site staff were very responsive and friendly, and walkable distance to great restaurants. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

LA's Guesthouse was a great place to stay. Up the hill from downtown area made it quiet yet still close enough to be walkable. Sonja was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely reccomend.

The Venus Hotel was exactly what they advertised. Our shower didn’t have hot water. I don’t know if it’s always that way but we made due. No complaints. They had potable water at the front desks for guests. A/C worked great. Bed was firm but wasn’t painful. Very clean, and friendly staff!

Ms Marta was an absolutely wonderful host. Very accomodating. Anything needed even recommendations for other places to go she provided. Very nice and kind. Enjoyed my stay woukd recommend anytime. Very cozy place.

Luis and Sonia were very attentive and considerate and available. The room was kept very clean and the ambiance is very nice. I definitely recommend it.

The space was perfectly advertised and everything was clean and well put together. Would definitely recommend the space for anyone visiting Benque Viejo! Communication with the host was awesome as well.

Loved the space; it's right downtown! Can walk right to restaurants or tours in 2 minutes. Maritza was quick to respond and very helpful!

Staying with Marta was better than I expected. The rooms are very clean and neat and had all the utilities and kitchen ware I needed. Wi fi and cable works very well. Almost everything is at walking distance from Marta`s place; there is a super market open up to 9 pm in front. An excellent cevicheria at the left. a bakery at the back, and a cute place you can have breakfast in front also. There is also a pupuseria!
