Un departamento con todo lo que uno puede esperar para sentirse como en casa, es acogedor con dos habitaciones y un baño bien equipado. La cocina grande y muy práctica, nos hemos sentido como en casa, pero lo que marca la diferencia en estos sitios es la rapidez y calidez de M. Raquel y su madre, excelente, muy atentas. Repetiremos seguro si volvemos por Arequipa pronto!!

Our stay at Samana Wasi has been really special! The village is very little but very welcoming and nice under every respect! (We really advice Incafé for your meals!!! Just amazing!!! <3 ) Samana Wasi is a perfect base for exploring the canyon and its valley!! Easy to reach Chivay, the miradores and any trekking you'd like! Particularly special was then the trekking we did with David!! He brought us to all the amazing places in the surrounding (including uyo uyo and the thermal baths!) Telling us a lot about the history of the valley and about the different cultures that inhabited it! Especially he transmitted us the deep respect, owe and gratitude felt for Pachamama! We really recommend a trekking with him!! And also he's a magnificent artisan and can tell you a lot about the folkloric traditions of the region! Very exceptional! Also not to forget the amazing breakfasts prepared by David's wife and her amazing mango/papaya extremely fresh juices! The place overall is just very cute and cosy! (If you need Wi-Fi though, that can be a problem... for us the fact of being really disconnected --no signal also with a peruvian sim card-- was a special added value!! : ) ) go there if you can! : )

Pasamos dos semanas en el departamento de Jonathan, el departamento cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía confortable. Lo que nos gusto más es el bonito patio con jardín del departamento y la comunidad con muchas tiendas y servicios de todo tipo. Sugeriría añadir más platos y cubiertos para familias grandes.

Excelente ubicacion, la atencion fue de primera y con mucha amabilidad. Recomiendo que se queden en casa de Luis. Su madre es una persona muy amable y siempre estuvo dispuesta a atendernos. La casa es muy bonita y la habitacion estaba perfecta. La vista desde la habitacion es muy bonita. Muchas gracias a Luis!

My family and I really enjoyed our time at Alejandra’s place ! It is beautiful, spacious, and most importantly very safe - there is 24 hour guard, gates, etc. There is a beautiful yard where you can quietly relax, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the internet connection works great (we watched several movies on Netflix, etc). Alejandra always answered all questions I had and she is a great host ! Thank you 🙏🏼

En famille, nous avons adoré notre séjour à l'hôtel Colca Tradición. Les enfants ont été ravis par les nombreuses activités proposées (piscine, jeux...). Les adultes ont apprécié le calme des lieux et la possibilité de se ressourcer. La proximité de Yanque permet de découvrir la région. La cuisine est délicieuse, avec des produits frais. Un endroit parfait pour des vacances en famille !

La mansion de Yanque es maravilloso, tal cual e incluso mejor que en las fotos, super limpio y organizado, check in y check out sin burocracia, la persona que nos atendio super amable y el jacuzzi excelente. La ubicación es más que perfecta, cerca de la plaza de Yanque y lugares para visitar. ¡¡¡La anfitriona Angi 1000!!! ¡Siempre muy amable y atenta, responde a todas las preguntas rápidamente! As all the previous reviews have said, Alvaro is a fantastic host. Warm, humble, friendly and helpful. Even though we shared kitchen and lounge areas, he gave us lots of space making us feel very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Having a washing machine and a big smart TV was also such a luxury for a long term travellers like us. Oh and the views from kitchen, bedroom and terrace are spectacular. The city centre is easily accessible by Uber for around 8 soles. We could find everything that we needed to cook from small local shops just few minutes walk. Thank you for sharing your home Alvaro! All our best wishes.

We loved staying at this apartment and felt right at home. It's a big bright space with lots of character and there's a big roof terrace with stunning views of the volcanoes. Lita is very cool and helped us with various things. It's a short walk to the Mirador de Yanahuara and about 35 minutes to the historic centre. Taxis to the centre are a couple of dollars. Highly recommended.
