The place was great to stay at. Was exactly what I expected. The hosts answered fast and gave very detailed instructions which was very helpful. Even gave a video explaining the area and parking. I would definitely stay again here.

this was a fun weekend trip we take every year to see our friends who live locally. We usually stay at hotels in Blacksburg or Christiansburg. This was cheaper than a hotel, we drove less and it was in a quaint little town. It was immaculately clean and had all we needed for a two night stay.

Anthony was the perfect host and we really enjoyed staying at his amazing place. Every time we drove down the road we felt like we were driving into the enchanted forest. Just Beautiful.

Wonderful stay for my son’s graduation at VT. The place was roomy, clean and comfortable. We loved the walkability to town. Floyd is such a cute place. We enjoyed live bluegrass music on Friday night and the farmer’s market on Saturday morning. Highly recommend this place.

The studio was cozy, spacious, and clean, with a clear private entrance. We had no issues during our stay and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Conveniently close to family, restaurants and stores.

Well designed and functional space was great for an inter-generational family trip down to the Roanoke area! Evan was hyper responsive to any questions and had detailed recommendations and instructions for the house.

This place was amazing. House on a hill with vistas 360. Ezekiel could not have been more thoughtful when preparing the house. Completely stacked kitchen and not with cheap stuff- it was all high quality. Beds, furniture bathrooms were expertly done. My family had a wonderful time and getting to know Ezekiel was blessing to us. Wonderful host who truly cares. Pro tip- you are out there- bring what you need. Nothing is close and its totally worth it.

This place was perfect for my family including my husband and 2 daughters ages 15 and 12. I had come into Roanoke for my 25 year college reunion and wanted to be close to the Hollins campus. The house was less than five minutes from Hollins and also maybe a 10 minute drive from downtown.

This was my third time staying at this quiet hillside retreat house. I love the sunrises and the view of the moon and stars through the front windows that are floor to ceiling. The layout of the house in unbeatable, and I relish its privacy, and how responsive the host is. I know what to expect and always feel good staying there.

We unfortunately were in Moneta this trip for a funeral so we didn't get to vacation or enjoy Smith Mtn Lake, but for those who plan to stay for that reason, the home is within 7-8 minutes of the Marina and close to restaurants and the grocery store. It is nicely remodeled and in a very quiet location. It is well furnished for your stay, has a nice screened in porch, back deck for outdoor dining and a large yard. Rock was very responsive and helpful whenever we reached out to him. It is on somewhat of a busy road and near a slight curve so be cautious to watch for traffic before turning down into the driveway.

This home was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I stayed here for a week with 2 friends and my dog while my husband & son were section hiking on the Appalachian Trail. The weather started out beautiful, but then the rain came in. However the location was perfect. We were able to pick up the boys at the end of a rainy day mid-week, and feed them wash their clothes and dry out their tents and gear. Then we dropped them back to finish their hike for another 2 days. Perfect! We were close enough to spend a day in Roanoke, to hike up to McAfee Knob, and to enjoy local coffee shops and restaurants. The little shopping center down the road had everything we could have possibly needed. I highly recommend this location if you have a pet, or if you love to hike.

Leslie was very responsive and very hospitable. It was a last minute trip and Leslie was able to accommodate. Even though the studio was small it had everything I needed for a quick get away. The area around the condo was beautifully maintained. It was close to the State Park which was nice because that was what brought me to the area. The people at the condos were very friendly. I would definitely stay again.

“Tranquility Cove” is a perfect description of our restful & relaxing stay that my husband & I enjoyed during Mother’s Day weekend. Mary Anne is an exceptional host who provided for all our comforts with every amenity that we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend at Smith Mountain Lake. The view of the sunrise over the lake & mountains along with the peaceful surroundings, access to the swimming pool & fitness center provided all that we needed for our dream-vacation-weekend. My husband & I have found our vacation destination at SML!

This is a beautiful and well maintained space, with all the amenities listed. We had some questions for the host and they were available, responsive and very helpful. The space is comfortable, and the bedroom balcony has a beautiful view to nature. It is located in a great area, and noise in the building was never an issue. I felt very safe and was able to rest well. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb to other travelers.
