Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cave Spring

Stephen's house was exactly what my family needed for a relaxing long weekend to be together. The house suited our needs extremely well with so many places to gather but also comfy spaces to curl up and read or take a nap. The deck overlooked the beautiful yard and view of the water with plenty of seating for all of us. The sunroom was enjoyable from morning til late at night, listening to the owls. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough for multiple cooks. My adult children enjoyed kayaking several times, especially since the house is tucked away from the main part of the lake, so we had very little water traffic. We only ventured out once to visit some wineries and pick up a pizza, preferring to just stay and enjoy the setting, although there was information about things to do in the area. This was our first of hopefully many visits to SML and I don't think we'll bother to search for a different house. We're already talking about our next time there!

Jessi’s Air bnb exceeded my expectations! The house its self was beautiful, and the inside was very well kept up! The back deck made the perfect lounging area, as well as the boat dock! We enjoyed lots of sunshine at the dock! Jessi’s communication was amazing, checking in on us, keeping up to date and her response time made questions answerable within minutes! The location of the house is 15 minutes from restaurants which made it very accessible! The house is perched back into a cove, which made it very peaceful and relaxing! I would highly recommend Jessi’s air bnb!

This was our third stay at Dave's place. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. I spent a lot of time soaking in the scenery, especially during sunrise and sunset. The house itself was well-equipped and comfortable, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I also really appreciated the host's communication – Dave was friendly, responsive, and quick to resolve any issues. When our AC went out, he was on it immediately and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful stay with incredible views. I will definitely return again!

Our family spent the most wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at Jeff and Tracey’s lake house! The home is roomy, comfortable and cozy, especially with the Christmas tree, and the view out on the lake is beautiful. While it was too cold for water sports, we enjoyed the games, but mostly we enjoyed quiet time together as a celebration of my birthday. Would love to come back during the summer!

The house is beautifully decorated, the river was amazing, and all the fish were hiding. The weather took a turn for the worse. It was cold and it was blowing snow. However, the house was warm a cozy. Great place to relax.

We love to stay in this very unique home. The place is wonderfully charming .We love the many old decorations , old American style .We and our grandchildren had a wonderful time .A great place to relax away from the city.

The home was beautiful and the amenities were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and spices. The home was very clean and very cozy. There is a neighboring town about 15 minutes away, so there were plenty of food and grocery options. It is a perfect remote get away.

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

We arrived at the mill having driven out from Asheville the weekend of the hurricane. Adam & Marcie could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. We only wished we had booked to stay for longer as we needed time to decompress after our experience, however it really was the right place to be. Thank you very much

My daughter and I had a great time staying here - great location and easy walk to downtown. It was clean, uncluttered, with plenty of quality bedding, pillows, towels and a comfortable couch and chair to watch the smart TV. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed - keurig, dishwasher, microwave and dishes. There was close access to a washer and dryer which was nice too.

I stayed for four nights solo and it was perfect. I did a small load of laundry. Could reheat leftovers, and work from home. Good setup since I brought a few things with me. Walkable to restaurants (less than a mile) but bring a few things and it’s great!

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!" 

I stayed at Brianna’s for a work trip and it was perfect! The bed was comfy, the space was clean and had everything I needed!

If you’re looking for a quiet place with a pieceful surrounding you can’t go wrong with Dannie’s place. Hope to return in the future with my family.

Very nice cabin. Everything was clean. Comfortable beds. Hot tub was great after hikes. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Melba's little cabin is amazing. Don't just stay somewhere nice, stay somewhere unique and wonderful! From the custom details in the house to the adorable animals just across the fence (especially the little pig), this cabin was a heartwarming, peaceful experience we'll never forget. Close to great dining, too and of course Smith Mountain Lake. Thank you, Melba and family. We hope to come back.

Pleasantly surprised by the cabin. We appreciated the scenic location, the cleanliness of the place, and the ease to get there along with the closeness to many trails and needs.

Such a special place to stay! The cabin is wonderfully cozy and homey, with windows open we could hear birdsong every morning and gentle rains at night. Kitchen is well suited for lots of cooking, and the array of books and games was impressive. We loved hiking in the surrounding areas, and equally enjoyed being able to rest here in the evenings. Highly recommend :)

The host is exceptional. Very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed the time we spent in this rustic setting. The alpaca's we so gentle and fun to watch. For peaceful getaway this airbnb is perfect.

A beautiful little cottage. It was the perfect place to relax while in town for a wedding. The place was very clean, private, and cozy. Would very much recommend to anyone!!

Libby and Kerry were great hosts. Very flexible and attentive. They treated us their own guests checking on us often to see if we needed anything. The place is historic and we felt like we were living in the 18s. My kids had som much fun with board games and toys in the cabin. They also liked exploring the big field. Definitely coming back.
