We had pretty wet and not overly warm weather; but the accommodation more than made up for it. It’s cosy and very comfortable and you can easily while away hours looking at all the books and records and memorabilia. Especially loved the view from the lounge area. Jim was very welcoming; friendly and kind. A real gent. Top place to stay.

Stayed here for a wedding at Virginia Park lodge, location was perfect and just a 5 min walk. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Check in was really clear and Joanne accommodated us with an early check in which was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again Thanks Joanne!

The White House is one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in Ireland. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had pleasant day. The house was pre heated before our arrival which is highly appreciated. The main highlight was the game room where they had plenty of board games to have a good social time. We had a lovely stay at Laneside Haven. We booked VERY last minute due to a family bereavement but Serenus ensured everything was ready for us including milk, porridge and some gorgeous scones which went down a treat as we arrived very late after a long day travelling. The house was spotless, warm and homely and there were even toys and books for my little boy! Serenus had leaflets of activities to do nearby as well a list of restaurants/takeaways which came in handy as we didn’t know the area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come again! Thank you so much Serenus.

me and the kids had an absolutely brilliant stay. lots of room, in and outside. safe and private. everything you need plus more provided. wanted for nothing. shop just 5 min drive away. the place was super cozy when we got there, felt like home from the minute we arrived. super clean and tidy hot tub was amazing, hot and ready to hop in on arrival. bbq set up for ready to go. i honestly can't say a single negative thing about this place, it was perfect. will deffiently be going back. the host was very nice and helpful. if any queries always quick to reply.

This house was a great find and suited our needs perfectly . When we arrived Michael checked with us about our local knowledge. But he was completely unobtrusive apart from that. The facilities are excellent and the house was spotless. Heating was really good. Set on a timer but house remained warm even when off. Dromod is a nice quiet village well placed for larger towns like Carrick on Shannon and Longford. Totally recommended

very peaceful few days spent in June's lovely house. June made us very welcome with the fire even lit before we arrived. Lots of little touches that added to our experience. The house is traditional with the thick walls but has all all the modern amenities. Beds are super comfy and this is a good base to explore, you will need to drive though. Our second stay in this fabulous Air B&B! This place never fails and feels so homely and welcoming! I’ve been to so many great air b and b’s in Ireland but this place is magic and it feels like you can really switch off. We were welcomed with gorgeous homemade bread and jam, such a lovely touch! And there is everything you need to make a tasty dinner or breakfast! This place has everything and you wouldn’t be left stuck if you forgot to pack something!! Everything is thought of for you. All you have to do is go! We loved lighting the stove in the evening and chilling out - there are lots of interesting books, games and the smart to allows you to enjoy all your favourite tv and YouTube etc. The cottage itself is so well kept and has so much authentic Irish country charm, from the pictures on the walls to all the old fashioned bits and pieces! If you enjoy stepping back in time, this is the place for you! Joanne is a fantastic host and so helpful, I can’t recommend enough! Thank you!!!!

Beautiful home. Very beautifully presented in lovely surroundings. The house is modern and very peaceful. Our older kids enjoyed the playroom. I enjoyed the kitchen, nice open kitchen living area. We left some luggage behind in the rush out, Martina and her husband Mike have been very patient as we went about retrieving it, they also offered to send it via courier. There are some pets on location, they are not allowed in the property but enjoyed the company of our three children outside. There were problems with the wood burner sadly but it didn't spoil the break.

Norbert greeted us and was very friendly and showed us where everything was and added bonus of ingredients to make a fry up. The place was lovely and clean very comfortable beds fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and tumble dryer. Couple of minutes walk to pub and convinence store and about 10 min drive to town. Highly recommended staying here for peace and quiet.

Claire was amazing! so quick to reply and even purchased a new BBQ free I inquired if there was 1!!! now that's service. place looks exactly like the photos. beds were comfy. only noise was the birds and the lambs ☺️. 10 minutes walk to the local pub and shop. 10 minutes in Longford town. thanks again for everything Claire. look forward to visiting again

Adam's property is in a fantastic location with a beautiful and soothing view over the lake below. A gated estate makes it so peaceful and private. All the amenities in the house that we needed were present and they were of a high standard. We found the property warm and comfortable, and we stayed in winter so that was great. The instructions to the property and how to enter were clear and easy to follow. Adam was very responsive and quick when we asked questions and provided all the information we asked for. He was flexible with our arrival and leaving times which really helped our logistics. We would definitely recommend the property and if we are looking for somewhere in this area again this would be top of our list. Watching the the sun come up on a frosty morning was so lovely!!.
