Ensuite Room to rent just 7km from Monaghan Town H

PeterRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Mullaghmore is a farm / equestrian centre. We stayed in a room just off the entrance hall of the main farmhouse, which gave just the right mix of easy access plus your own space. "Check-in" could not have been easier - Marese saw us arrive and came out to greet us and made us a lovely cup of tea. The room and bathroom are modern, spotless and very well furnished. Many thanks Peter

Inchin Lake House - Cavan. The Swan Room

EmmaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Lovely one night stay in the Nest! Great space for 4 adults and only a 5 min drive to Farnham Estate, which we attended for a wedding. Mary is accommodating and easy to get ahold of via message. Reasonably priced all in all and lake opposite was beautiful. The only downfall was some old/already opened food and drinks left in the fridge and slight staining on the settee but no big deal! Would stay again :)

Orchard House

MartinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great stay at Orchard House at the weekend. This beautiful home is located in an idyllic setting on the outskirts of Ballinamore. We were warmly welcomed by Susan on arrival and found our accommodation had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We felt right at home and in the morning Susan treated us to a sumptuous cooked breakfast along with homemade fresh produce which set us up for the day. I would give Orchard House the highest recommendation. Thank you Susan. We had a great weekend.

Tinas Lough Allen

ChitraRating, 5 stars7 months ago
One of the best stays in our trip in Ireland. It s very homely and the host and her husband are very kind and friendly people. Jack dog was really loving and I spent most of my time with Jack. On our long travel I managed to wash and dry our cloths at Marina’s place. Though it ‘ s shared kitchen was all alone for me to use as no body was at home. This place is located in a very beautiful hill side where you can have a beautiful view of the Lake. Very calm and quiet big land and the house in the middle of this beautiful land was s very bright and spacious. I will highly recommend this peaceful home for any one to stay few nights. We will definitely come back.

Glendurragh House B&B Corlough H14F971 - Bedroom 3

It felt nothing less than a big castle. Tony and Karen welcomed us with a warm smile, we were fascinated with the little talks, kind friendly nature and their hospitality. A soldier statue in armour was one of the attractions of this big beautiful building. Waking up to a view - big lawn with a water pond, added with nature’s drizzling was amazing.. The room had its royal charm with handpicked modern jewelled bed side table lamps, unique mirror, window view. Healthy and tasty Vegan breakfast served by them adds on to the list which makes us visit the place again. Furthermore, they guided us to nearest scenic beauty and possible places we could explore. Moreover, they were flexible with the in and out timings. Thanks much Karen and Tony. !!

Ally was so warm and welcoming, and the room was beautiful bed super comfortable. The directions that Ally sent me were great. Her local knowledge was really helpful. I also had the opportunity to try her scones and homemade jam in tea rooms. We’ll certainly come back for a longer stay. Thank you Ally for being a great host.

Luxurious Connaught ensuite room in Lynster House

JuliaRating, 5 stars71 months ago
Lynster House is a unique b&b concept in many ways. It is an experience, rather than a stay, in this beautifully appointed, very comfortable home. You will experience Irish hospitality at its finest. Our own experience was akin to that of visiting close relatives. The hub of the house is the large kitchen dining room and you will dine with whomever is in residence - makes for some lively banter with the host always busy cooking and inventing and consulting with each guest re their personal preferences and offering new ways with lovely food. Breakfast is always different but you do have a choice if you just want full Irish. Just think of the old adage “ If you want something done ask a busy woman”. A gorgeous television lounge with a real fire available at all times during the day, you might opt to stay home and read some of the amazing literature dotted about the place, especially if it’s raining hard and you’re always welcome to help yourself to tea/coffee anytime, or just chill and admire the eclectic collection of art works everywhere. If you’re lucky and she is at home from her many travels she will offer to cook a delicious dinner for you at a reasonable cost. The the odd glass of wine thrown in or bring your own and it’s a recipe for a really relaxing stay, punctuated with the occasional visit to the local ancient pub. You will enjoy the benefit of Elizabeth’s local and wider knowledge of the area and it’s history, distances and suggestions of what not to miss, I really don’t know what more you could ask for. Check out her You Tube channels Elizabeth McGuinness Cooks. Do yourself a favour - just go.
