Vacation rentals in Catona

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

This was, without a doubt, one of our top airbnb experiences. Katia was amasing and the house was clean, beautiful, inviting and cozy and also in a great location in the city. We stayed in the appartment with three young children, they all slept on the double bed and had plenty of room. It seemed that this place was carefully planned and designed to make us feel right at home- in every way. The only thing we regretted was booking only one night. We highly recommend, thank you Katia!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The location is just perfect – everything is within walking distance, be it the train station, the beach or the shopping. This makes the arrival and exploration of the area super convenient. Communication with Diego was straightforward and fast. He was always available and kindly answered all our questions. His helpfulness and excursion tips made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was very clean and offered extensive amenities that left nothing to be desired. We immediately felt comfortable and can only recommend this place👍🏼☀️!

Lorenzo’s place was perfect for our 5 day trip. Just a short walk from the promenade and close to loads of great restaurants, the location was perfect. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with plenty of space and incredible views of the sea and Mt Etna! The apartment was very clean and well looked after, I would highly recommend.

Great location to reach in a few minutes by car Reggio Calabria and the ferry terminal of Villa San Giovanni.
