Vacation rentals in Castelo de Vide

De Casa van Diane was precies zoals vermeld in de beschrijving en de foto’s, incl. de klim naar het kasteel, de lage waterdruk en het bed (was voor die grote Nederlanders wat van bescheiden afmeting). De Casa is heel sfeervol en met veel zorg en oog voor details ingericht. Het huisje was bij aankomst brandschoon en de prachtige tuin was keurig verzorgd. Door het mooie weer dat ons ten deel viel was het daarin heerlijk toeven. Castelo de Vide is een prachtig en gezellig stadje, de natuur van de Serra is fantastisch en bezoekje aan Marvaõ een “must”. Kortom: een heel fijn plekje voor een paar onvergetelijke dagen, dank daarvoor Diane.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa do Alto. The weather was really bad so we spent a lot of time in the house, getting cosy and enjoying the views. The kitchen is well equipped to make your own meals. The host is very responsive. The path to the house is very narrow and was quite slippery. I'd recommend taking the first road into Escusa when coming from Castro de Vide.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host Eduardo went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Communication was prompt, clear, and helpful, and the space was exactly as described-immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It’s clear the host truly cares about their guests’ comfort and experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb stay. Castelo de Vide was a beautiful quaint Portuguese town that had loads of history, hikes and all the amenities you might need. It was also very close to Spain for any day trips.

Luogo nudo e crudo come promesso. Perfetto per immergersi nella natura selvaggia e per sentire ciò che ha da offrire. Menzione speciale per la vasca con acqua di fonte.

Excelente alojamento numa vila muito bonita e com acesso a muita cultura, nomeadamente museu Salgueiro Maia, Sinagoga, museu da Inquisição, etc.

Anfitriã muito simpática e o espaço é muito agradável para passar um fim de semana que foi o nosso caso. Uma experiência sem dúvida a repetir.

Great stay inside castle walls! Luis was great host. We met him in town, parked our car and he drove us up the narrow streets to the apartment. It’s about a 10 minute walk down to square. Town is lovely and friendly. Highly recommend!

Apartamento bonito y muy bien situado en Castelo de Vide, al lado del castillo, bien aislado dle ruido Nos atendio Filipa y fue muy amable siempre pendiente de nuestras necesidades

Está casinha é excelente para desligar do rebuliço. O Rui foi um excelente anfitrião, com dicas úteis sobre as redondezas, sendo que um dos percursos pedestres fica mesmo junto à casinha, e numa hora de caminhada chegámos a Castelo de Vide, passando por carris e um apeadeiro abandonado.....maravilhoso! O Rui foi gentil e deixou-nos mantimentos que deram para o pequeno almoço durante o fim de semana, pão, manteiga, leite, café, queijo, fruta....até um reforço de lenha para a salamandra que soube muito bem! Tudo muito bem decorado e limpo, adorámos e iremos provavelmente voltar. Só não aconselharia a quem tenha problemas de mobilidade por o quarto se situar na mezzanine, fora isso, é uma experiência a não perder!
