Amazing little getaway! The house is absolutely adorable and waking up to the view of the lake was great. Short distance from Freeport and Portland so lots of options for day trips! 10/10 would stay here again!

We had a truly lovely stay at this cozy lakeside cabin. The setting is everything you’d hope for—peaceful, scenic, and full of charm. Mornings were magical, with beautiful sunrises enjoyed from the porch. We took the canoe out at sunset and it was just perfect—calm water, glowing skies, and total serenity. The cabin is simple, clean, and full of character. We felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down and soak in the beauty of nature.

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

Came here for our honeymoon ! Very secluded and relaxing ! David was very responsive and helpful. Hot tub was amazing ! It was the perfect relaxing getaway we needed and wanted after planning our wedding. There isn’t much service in the area but the house had great wifi. To get to the Airbnb you do have to drive on unpaved road but you get used to it once you drive on it a few times.

We really enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. My eight-year-old loved to read in every nook of the house, so even though the weather was not ideal during our trip, because the house was so lovely and cozy, we still really enjoyed our time in Maine. I also appreciated all of the card and board games available and then on the sunny day that we had right before we left, we got to hike Bradbury and it’s a small hike, but it is so nice that it’s right outside the house and so we did it twice. Heidi was so helpful and responsive during our stay and right before we checked in. I really hope that we can come back in the future! 🦊

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Emma's place. I came both times for a workshop and ceremony that took place in both Freeport and in Portland. Drives to Portland were the longest, and not too taking, and I chose to stay at Emma's place BECAUSE of the way the house holds me: the spaciousness, the attention to art and wisdom, the lighting and unfussy-yet-design-inspired furniture choices, the plant life, the textures and colors: all these things are soothing and welcoming. It was a pleasure to drive "home" exhausted, knowing what it feels like to open that back door.

I stayed here solo for a weekend event just 10 minutes away, and it was the perfect home base. The listing matched the description to a T! The cottage is clean, cozy, and updated with care, featuring fresh paint, new furniture, and thoughtful touches throughout. Although it’s ideal for families or couples, it was also just right for a solo getaway. I kicked off the season with a lobster roll at the place down the street (because where else but Maine?), and enjoyed the peaceful vibe the whole weekend. The private little sand beach down the road is a lovely bonus—just a short walk and you're by beautiful Sebago Lake. It’s a great place to relax. The location is also super convenient—close to shopping, dining, and 10 minutes away from my event at St Joseph's College. Andy was a fantastic host, allowing me to check in early and making sure everything was easy. Honestly, if you forgot to pack something, chances are Andy already thought of it and had it stocked. Highly recommend!!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place!! my kids didn’t want to leave! Lovely cottage feel with a beautiful view to the lake. We had such a great time taking the kayaks and paddleboard out on the water and enjoying our coffee overlooking the water from the sunroom,. Thank you for the great family memories!

Beautiful spot! Far enough from everything to feel private and peaceful but not so far that it's inconvenient. Nice and clean. Would stay here again.

We had the absolute best time at MJ’s place, highly recommend !! The house is spatious yet very cozy and quiet, with a nice back porch to sit and enjoy the surrounding woods! Home is also very close to town and to Poryland/coastline, and the cleanest lake to swim in that we’ve ever been to! MJ was very helpful and quick to respond. Stay here! We hope to return sometime soon!!

We have stayed at Jackies place twice now and enjoyed it just as much this time as the last. Even though it rained for two days the house is plenty big enough to spread out. We had to change our reservation days twice because of circumstances and Jackie was very accomidating..

Me and my friends we were group of five. We enjoyed our stay at their place. It was amazing view by the lake side. The hot tub and kayaking experience was totally awesome. We will never forget our trip to Hampshire because of this beautiful house.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alexa’s cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, and truly felt like we could disconnect from the world to connect with those around us. This cabin is one of the most wonderful places I have been. My partner and I stayed just under a week and we enjoyed every second! It was so peaceful and relaxing to be away in such a beautiful home in an amazing area!

Lovely cozy cabin! I went mid-May, which probably isn’t the best time if you want to enjoy local activities. But it is a good time if you want to just relax at the cabin. The host were really nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
