Vacation rentals in Cascada El Chiflón

We had a wonderful 2-night stay with Luis and his family. My daughter loved the swing set and toys and wants to go back! Although there is no kitchen, don't be surprised if you are offered a cup of coffee first thing in the morning, or if food is shared with you freely. The room is quiet at night and we slept very well here. Internet works great for Zoom meetings, and you'll probably be offered a little office space that you can access anytime. Our first experience with hosts in Mexico, and it is one I would fully recommend, particularly to small families.

Simply: the best place to live in the whole Comitan! 1. Karina is an excellent host. She helped with "where to go" and "what to eat." She even met us at the bus station. And she was just a nice person to talk to. 2. The property is fantastic! Designer's house with plenty of unique elements and paintings. 3. The location is pretty close to the center, around 10 minutes walk. 4. There's a beautiful garden; walking there and looking at thousands of orchids is a pleasure by itself. 5. Karina's parents' hospitality is so lovely. We had breakfasts, coffee, and pleasant conversations with them. Overall, I felt the authentic experience - like being home outside of the home. Karina, thanks for this, and please say thanks to your parents!

Si buscas un lugar tranquilo donde quedarte trabajando online, este alojamiento es perfecto. Frida es muy tranquila y amable, la privacidad con ella es absoluta😬 La habitación es muy espaciosa, luminosa, con buen armario y estantería,la cama muy muy cómoda, hay una buena mesa para trabajar junto a la ventana, el internet es lo suficientemente bueno y rápido (entre 6-8Mbps) como para trabajar online y hacer videollamadas. El baño es igualmente muy espacioso, hay agua caliente y, aunque no queda dentro de la habitación, está muy cerca del cuarto. Desde casa de Frida puedes ir caminando a todos lados, desde a la plaza principal como al boulevard donde encuentras las combis que te llevan a todas las cosas que visitar a los alrededores de Comitán. Recomendaciones para comer en Comitán: - Restaurante "Sabores de Comitán" (prueben el hueso🤤) - Pizzería Sanse - Mercado 1o de Mayo (desayunos baratos y tradicionales) - Mercado de San José (algo caro pero muy variado con varios restaurantes de sushi, pasta, comida mexicana, hamburguesas, etc y puedes tomar un café y cócteles) Gracias Frida, si regreso a Comitán ahí nos vemos😉

Excelente atención! Mario y Elda son unas personas muy lindas, solo estuvimos una noche y fue muy grata la atención y los detalles que tuvieron con nosotros 🤩🤩🤩 1000% recomendables

Super nice place. We would've loved to have had planned more time to stay and enjoy. We arrived later than expected which was no problem at all and the owner is very nice. We would recommend to spend 2-3 days at least to explore, quite close to the waterfalls (velo de novia, etc.)

Wow. This place is a little piece of heaven. There are sounds of running water throughout the place, so you feel instantly relaxed. It was great having a soothing background sound while sleeping. The property is run by a loving family, with the mother in the restaurant kitchen prepping fresh food throughout the week. When you walk down, at the bottom of the property is a turquoise flowing river / small cascading falls. The view is refreshing and a great place to relax and do some yoga. The food at the restaurant is homemade comfort food. It was a perfect place for my dog and I to relax and explore all the local attractions. You're within 30 - 40 minutes drive to El Chiflon, Koila and Cenote Chucumaltik. If you're a couple, family, or just a solo traveler, this hospitable family run paradise is one of the best stays you will have.

La anfitriona es muy amable y siempre está al pendiente de las necesidades de sus huéspedes . Excelente lugar para descansar .
