The Half Shell - A Coastal Getaway in BeauCoast

We were extremely satisfied with our rental of the Half Shell! The condo was spotless and the decor and furniture was so lovely. Best of all, we loved the peace and quiet-- no street noise, no loud neighbors, and no disturbances of any kind that would disrupt our vacation or our sleep. The outdoor swimming pool was about a half-block away and it was beautiful and clean. Don was an amazingly good communicator-- all our questions were answered within ten minutes or so. We had a 4-hour power outage in the neighborhood one evening due to a blown transformer. Don had suggestions on where we could go in Beaufort where they still had power, and the next day was so considerate that he offered to give us a late checkout the next day or even to give us another night's stay! Unbelievably kind. We had a great time in Beaufort and would happily stay at the Half Shell again if we come back in the future!

Sandra’s place was just as described. Pictures are accurate and the space is very nice. Sandra was very responsive to messages and very timely with responses as well. We enjoyed our time there . For my wife and I the bed was a little too firm but that’s just a matter of opinion and preference. Sandra was a flexible host and gave us the opportunity to check in at an earlier time. It was a wonderful stay.

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Condo. The Condo was very clean, comfortable and the area quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and made cooking easy. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the flat walkway to the beach for walks and fishing. Haylee was a great host providing clear and very easy check in and out information. Very friendly, helpful with questions and quick response times. We would love to have the chance to stay at this condo again very soon.

Josh's place was exactly what we'd hoped, no, even better. The view was fantastic, overlooking the ocean, with the peaceful sound of surf. The short walk to the beach involved some stairs outdoors. The elevator and luggage cart made moving into the condo easy. Beds were comfortable. Josh offered early checkin which we appreciated.

Shari was very accommodating regarding me adding a date and checking in earlier than my original reservation. When we met, she was personable and offered food and activity reservations during our stay. The condo was well decorated, inviting, and had everything we could possibly need during a stay away from home. I am so happy I found this property and the great reviews from other guests. I would definitely rent from Shari again!

First time in Emerald Isle and we couldn’t be happier with the location. With younger children, it was conveniently close to restaurants, attractions, and the beach. The children also enjoyed the indoor pool! The unit overall was clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were also responsive. Would definitely consider this location again if we return to the area!

Kim was a fabulous host, responsive, and accommodating. The house was well equipped with a lot of extras, great body wash and shampoo, beach towels, beach chairs, coffee, cream, spices, grilling supplies, laundry detergent, extra pillows and linens, etc. We arrived in town several hours before check-in. I sent Kim an email and she responded immediately letting us know the house was ready and we were welcome to go to the house. Great home and host!
