Waterfront vacation rentals in Carteret County

Absolutely loved staying here! It was an end unit as described and the beach veiw from the balcony was breathtaking. Easy beach access, kid friendly unit, very clean and comfortable. It felt like home on arrival, we were able to unpack easily and still enjoy the rest of the day in the area. Stacy was very quick to answer when we had an issue and resolved it within the hour. Would recommend staying here, especially if you have kids.

This is a great little place! The location was great. I admit I would have like a better view out the window, but all I had to do was take a few steps to see the water. Shirt walk to the ocean, nice pool. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this place. It was clean, comfortable, it had everything that we needed, it’s walking distance to nice places to eat and drink, that are right on the water and it has a pool!!!

We had a great experience in this cozy waterfront condo! There were lots of activities to do around the area, but we also felt comfortable staying in and taking in all the beautiful nature. We will certainly be back!

Fantastic stay! Fantastic, relaxing setting.... we loved the view of the water. There were some cute Easter decorations inside. The two dogs that live there are amazing! We missed our dogs so much and loved that theirs came to visit! Perfect stay for our family!

Penny’s place was absolutely amazing! From the minute we walked in the door it exceeded our expectations! The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean and fully stocked with all you need for a family beach vacation. Penny was very responsive with any questions we had and gave many great recommendations for places to eat and shop. Would highly recommended her home and we hope we can come back very soon!

We all felt this was our favorite place so far. It is near the end of the road with widely-spaced homes on large lots so we never heard a car but saw one woman walking her dog and lots of birds. There is a long dock and stairs to the beach. When we had a question about the oven Brent arrived within 5 minutes! A magical place…

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and private with a beautiful view right next to the canal. My kids especially had a blast fishing off the dock — it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The setting was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. We would definitely love to come back!

This was a very nice, private place to stay. The house is beautiful with nice views of the sound. The bedrooms were big and comfortable with comfortable beds. The bathroom and showers were amazing. The kitchen had good amount of space. Outdoors was nice too with firepit and hammock. Comfortable couch and recliner. Nice office area with fast high speed internet. Highly recommend. Fishing was good off of the dock.

Right from the start Johnna made us feel like we had always known her! Very warm and hospitable. Flexible with check-in. The place was even more beautiful than the pictures could even capture. Stunning view. We love the quiet peaceful surroundings - no loud cars as you are set away from any main roads. Stargazing at night was breath taking on their beautiful deck. We enjoyed the swing downstairs, her comfy outdoor lay back chairs, and fun clamming tools they provided underneath the house! We loved sitting in the rocking chair in front of the BIG windows in the living area...the windows were our favorite part! She was so joyful, kind, and allowed us to feel settled and right at home while going through a difficult time personally. It was such a relief to feel like we were in goods hands, and staying somewhere we could trust and felt safe! This is the PERFECT place for a quiet time for yourself, or a fun time for your family. We will be recommending to everyone we know! 5 Stars!

What an awesome place to stay for a family. Everything was just as we expected and way more! All the grandkids loved the fishing and kayaks. So close to Beaufort, Morehead and Atlantic Beach. Just a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home for the week!!

Washington Cottage was a wonderful place for our weekend getaway. The house was clean and neat, private and in a quiet area while still convenient to most attractions in the area. Enjoyed our walks down to the public Access Pier. Thank you Aubrey for being such a wonderful host!

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was perfect for my husband and I. There were so many thoughtful touches that we appreciated like the welcome gift, extra plush towels, fan, and super comfortable bed! The room was exceptionally clean as well which is always important. The room had everything we could have needed! We can’t wait to come again and stay here. We had a wonderful stay here! The condo was very clean and spacious. We had a newborn with us and were able to easily fit her pack and play in the bed room. It is a short walk to the beach and a nice peaceful area. We will definitely book here again! Thanks for a great weekend!

Great location. One of the quietest and prettiest beaches on the island. Amazing view from the deck. Would definitely stay there again over other rentals in the area.

Anita was great reaching out to make sure our arrival was good, and that there were no issues. We have stayed numerous times over the last 5-6 years. It is a great location, plenty of amenities, and feels the comfort of home. I highly recommend her place you are planning to stay in the Beaufort/Morehead city area. The condo was clean upon arrival, and the view was amazing! Lisa was very prompt at answering any questions. The balcony was small but still very nice, and the chairs were more comfortable than the normal wooden balcony chairs that have been at other rentals. It was very quiet, you couldn't hear anything from any neighboring condos. I would definitely stay here again if I chose to vacation in Atlantic Beach again.
