House vacation rentals in Carter County

This duplex is in a beautiful setting in the country, but very easy to get to just off the interstate. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. Hope to return!

Wonderful home with a large deck overlooking the lake. The kids loved making S’Mores over the firepit. Plenty of room and about 10 minutes or less to town if you forget something! Comfortable, clean and well stocked. My family and I can’t wait to go back! We also visited nearby Chickasaw (Platt) National Park and Magnetic Hill in Springer. Lots of fun.

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful lake house for the weekend. As soon as we walked in it felt so welcoming. The view of the lake was gorgeous. The only con was there were no curtains on the windows, and we didn’t feel comfortable allowing the kids to sleep downstairs at night.

My husband and I were looking for a getaway weekend spot and Stacey's place was PERFECT! It was a picturesque, quiet & relaxing spot for us to unwind and explore the area. Stacey was an excellent hostess, easy to communicate with and prompt in response time. We highly recommend her place, and we are definitely planning a return trip in future!

O would definitely go here again!! It was peaceful and quiet, and even though our original plans got squashed, we were able to build a fire in the back and have a really much needed break!!!

The house was very clean! Roomy with enough beds for all of us. We just needed a stop to rest on our road trip and it fit the bill. It was a little difficult to access because you have to turn down a side street before the house to get to a parking lot and then there were four houses in a little group. I had to pull up pictures of the front of the house to figure out which one it was. It is in an odd location, on an access road right off the highway between two car dealerships but it was perfect for what we needed. We got in, showered, slept and were back on the road in no time. I was glad that I had a noise maker with me though, because of the highway traffic noise, but overall, it was a great experience! They were a great host!

My daughter and I stayed here after spending the day at Turner Falls. We proceeded onto Mountainview, Arkansas the following day. We truly enjoyed our stay here. Last year, we stayed at a chain hotel during the same trip and we were actually scared there. At this place, we felt safe and comfortable. Sheryl was extremely communicable and always responded quickly. We enjoyed being in a rural area where we could see the stars at night. The next day, we went over to see the cows eating their breakfast, which topped off our lovely stay. We highly recommend staying here, thank you!!

Loved being here! It’s a beautiful property, even on the rainy days you can just sit in the deck and watch the storms. Super close to lake Murray. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking. It’s they perfect place for families who want to enjoy the lake. We were able to go play at the lake and come back for meals and naps because it’s less than 10 minutes away. We plan on coming back since just being on the property is both relaxing and fun and it’s so close to the lake.

Beautiful little home in a beautiful neighborhood. We loved how the yard was immaculate and the inside was tastefully decorated and modern. Made us feel right at home. Comfy beds, plenty of extra towels and kitchen supplies, extra blankets, fans etc. Stayed nice and cool with the AC. Would happily stay here again if ever in the area

El lugar es perfecto para descansar, pasar una tarde tranquila viendo el atardecer desde el hut tube, hacer grill en familia y terminar la noche en el área de la fogata quemando marshmallow. El lugar cuenta con todo lo básico para hacer tus días comodos y lo más que me gusto fue la limpieza todo estaba perfecto. El lugar es muy tranquilo y seguro.
