My place is on Blue Ridge Parkway on mile post 191.4. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambience, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Two Bed Rooms (One King Size and one Queen size beds) Security Camera; One Camera is pointed at the front door. NO CAMERA POINTED AT THE DECK!!!!!! Verizon is best. Occasionally WiFi may act up but usually good. Worth the stay if you want to relax and unwind away from city issues. Peaceful incredible views. Short hike to mountain stream on property picnic area. Water is from a deep well, tested and 100% free of any bacteria. No RVs.

Blue Ridge Parkway, soaking tub, hot tub, internet, coffee, hiking, and a view in Fancy Gap. Great for groups. What is needed for Glamping? Clothes, food, We have everything else covered! we own a nice fishing spot 3 miles away that my guests are welcome to. Mother Earth is super comfy with plush blankets washed between each stay, comfortable seating and open the dome to enjoy that fresh mountain air! There is a propane fireplace and a minisplit for heat/ac.

A great place to get away with my husband and two small fur-babies for a long weekend!! Pete and Darlene are absolutely wonderful hosts with excellent responsiveness and attention to your needs and travel iteniary. The cottage itself is very comfortable and cozy, very dog friendly and decorated so cute with retro decor. The view is absolutely breaktaking and stunning! Our visit to Mount Airy and Pilot Mountain were great with lots of history, shops, parks and restaurants. There is lots of nature and overlooks to experience in the area being right off the parkway, however areas of the parkway were closed during our visit because of the ice storms from a couple months ago. I would definitely recommend and will be again back myself! Thank you for letting us make lasting memories in your cozy and quaint Retro Bungalow!

This place was EXACTLY as described! We had a much needed private and peaceful getaway despite the rainy weather! There was plenty of land to explore and lots of supplies to make dinner and breakfast! Addison was very responsive and helpful during our stay!

Great stay! From the rocking chairs on the porch with a breathtaking view of the valley, to the ambiance of the fireplace in the comfy living room (make sure you view the youtube how-to video), it was serene and romantic. Super comfy bed! The good Lord blessed us with a "double sunrise" this Good Friday morning! Pre-dawn painted in breathtaking hues of reds and golds and the sun burst over the mountain, then passed through a bank of clouds and burst out again! An awesome start to our Easter holiday! Rebecca was very responsive and a great hostess! I hope we have a chance to return to this idyllic destination!

After a hectic election season, my husband and I both work in politics, my family needed a comfortable and peaceful place to relax and recharge. The cabin was a perfect setting for just that! A cozy living room, a well appointed kitchen and an incredible front porch with lots of options for sitting and relaxing made our long weekend wonderful! It makes for a perfect getaway and has an appeal for all seasons of the year. We will definitely return at some point for another unplugged weekend.

What an amazing stay! Such a cozy cabin and warm ambience. From cozying up inside by the fire to sipping coffee on the porch it was the relaxing stay that I so desperately needed. The porch is expansive and has extremely comfortable rockers, the bed upstairs with the soft lighting at night is romantic and relaxing, and the property was really enjoyable to walk around. The host was friendly and very responsive. I had a wonderful time with my fur babies and would definitely come back.

A home before our home! We stayed for a little over a month. It’s a beautiful location with trails, beautiful wildlife, a pond and creek that was a fan favorite, and a fenced in yard to let the kiddo and dogs run and rove. It had everything you would need and is conveniently in between Floyd and Hillsville AND the Blue Ridge Parkway! Mr. Bailey was friendly, informative, and his dog Rosie is a sweetheart!

Great place for a long weekend in Galax. We were in town for a concert at the Rex Theater and spent a few extra days. Far enough out of town to feel peaceful but close enough for the convenience of restaurants and shopping. Craig was super responsive and gave clear check in and check out instructions. Overall a great stay!

If you are looking for a quiet, restful, beautiful location to escape, this is it! I sat outside on the porch swing and listened to the wind and the trees, the birds chirping away, watching the two horses, one mule, one pony eating in the pasture. It was a great respite from the noise and scenery of Dallas. Great stay!
