Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Carroll County

The accommodations were Good and I will stay again if I am in the area. The lake was Beautiful and the Gardens around there Home were Beautiful as well !!!

Mark's place was very cozy and quiet. He was a very responsive host and even offered to make a fire in the firepit outside for us!

Don’t hesitate on booking this property! Descriptions and pics do not do it justice not to mention, Leigh and Ryan have been first class! Beautiful, Peaceful and Very spacious is an understatement. An absolute home away from home with all the amenities. McIntosh Reserve Park is literally next door. This bonus has been a relaxing treat for evening bike rides while enjoying history, nature and wildlife along the river.

The home was exactly what our crew member needed while working in the area. Was so thankful to stay there. Quick communication from the owners. Super helpful. Thank you for letting him stay. Would gladly stay again if in the area.

The place was great except for the bathroom. The floor in the shower felt like it had some water issues beneath the tub. There is a reason there are minimal photos of the bathroom. I was recommend a refresh of the bathroom.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday while visiting family. The property is better than the pictures. Keurig with some pods provided. Fully equipped kitchen, great linens, and a peaceful setting, far back from the road. The unit is clean and bright. The decor is calming and not cluttered. Good price for a holiday stay, and Kerri was amazing! She was very responsive and helpful. She also has a book with relevant information and local places that deliver. Having said that, DoorDash did not have a hard time finding us. Just a hint here and not at all a complaint. Apple Maps does not bring you directly to the address. Use Google maps instead. It brought us right to the driveway with no problem. Apple Maps had us driving back roads that didn’t lead to the address. Kerri warned us that this sometimes happened, so another kudos for that! Would 100% stay again. I probably will, actually. My family lives close by.

Very nice & comfortable. Dark at night turning into driveway. Not bad or scared just fyi it’s a long dark driveway.

The place was as described and more. All areas of the home were clean and well-equipped, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with needed supplies. Stayed with a family of 14 and did not have to use all the beds. There were enough games and activities to keep the kids entertained. We would definitely stay again. We have and will continue to tell others about the Riverhouse.

Great place walkable to downtown with all comforts of home

My stay was quite delightful. Gerald greeted me at the door and showed exactly where I'll be staying. The house was gorgeous and well furnished, the bathrooms were great with nice hot water, and the kitchen had basic cooking essentials available. Although you are staying in the lower part of the house, the house is very spacious and offers a private entrance if you prefer. Overall Gerald is a fantastic host and you'd hardly even know that he's upstairs. I highly recommend staying here.

Five stars doesn’t do this home justice, this is by far the best stay that we have had. The lake setting is beautiful, and the home is extremely nice and it make you feel comfortable and right at home. So many amenities to keep everyone’s interest, from fishing, board games, foosball, or just relaxing watching TV or reading a book. Everything that you might need, down to the smallest detail is provided. I only wish that I knew about this place on my previous trips. We will be back!

This place worked out perfectly for our large family who all came in from all over the world for our daughter’s wedding. We had plenty of room for all 13 of us to sleep comfortably. Lots of spaces for people to break off and get some quiet time too if needed. Everyone enjoyed the Pac-Man arcade and foosball table too! We didn’t partake of the fishing and kayaks but it was nice that they were available. Each bathroom had extra touches including basic necessities that one might forget.

We had a wonderful stay in Fairfield. 2 beautiful days to go for walks and hang out at the lake. We had a wonderful visit with our friends. Thank you so much!
