Maureen's place is a gem in a location without a lot of options. My wife's family lives in Danao and we struggle every year trying to find decent & reasonably priced accomodations. The space was as described. Great view off the balcony. Living room had a small TV and a portable fan. It could get a little uncomfortable if you weren't used to the heat. The bedroom had Aircon and it worked fantastic. As a result, we spent most of our time in the bedroom. Kitchen was stocked with everything you might need. Fridge worked great. Maureen does stock the space with drinking water which doesn't seem to be so common at BNBs in the Philippines this year. Bathroom was satisfactory and the hot water worked good. Water pressure wasn't so great but that's pretty normal and something were used to by now. Maureen was very responsive, going out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Overall, we were happy with and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The place was lovely, the view was relaxing seeing the pool area and glass house from the living room. Although we encountered a little hiccup regarding the malfunctioning microwave, which our host let me know on the day of the check in. I would have appreciated it if I was told beforehand because we brought microwave popcorn. Although, the caretaker Ms. Neria was clear with her instructions and tour of the Airbnb. She even offered to let us borrow her rice cooker as the previous guests misused the old rice cooker and left it discolored. The glass house was cozy, and offered a really nice view of the sea and sunrise. My family members however complained regarding the water pressure in their bathrooms. Hope this can be fixed as well. Other than that, we loved the karaoke and the pool! We are also able to use the grill for barbecue and the ref and freezer were functional, which was fortunate since my family brought a lot of food. The beach villa is superb not just the facilities - gorgeous view, nice garden, lovely indoor/outdoor family room and delightful bedrooms, but the team on hand cooking and cleaning is absolutely thoroughly attentive and caring. What is more Mark himself gives great suggestions for local visits and attractions, helps organise logistics and really considers a visitor’s needs. The whole team is attentive, flexible and keen to please. They cook up a storm of fantastic local and western cuisines and take feedback into consideration. We had a fantastic stay and will happily return for another relaxing family holiday!

Hosts were very accommodating, especially since we arrived during heavy rains and had to move a lot of stuff. They also allowed us to move the mattresses to the other room (we wanted to sleep in the same room). If you want to use the gas stove (in the dirty kitchen), you have to pay extra, and if you’re planning to cook, it’s best to bring your own utensils and equipment (they provide the basic stuff). All in all, we had such a great time, the place was tidy, sheets smelled good, and the bathroom was clean. We’ll definitely be back!
