Beautiful Home! Loved the decor and style of the furnishings. The kitchen was very open and inviting. Great view of the quiet and peaceful lake. Lots of wild life to view and enjoy. Three King size beds, giant shower areas, and deck on 2nd floor were amazing. Hot tub was a huge bonus, after figuring out how to get it out of sleep mode. Westin was a great and responsive host with any communication, including prior to booking. We would not hesitate to use this listing again in the future. Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

We had to travel to the Cloquet area unexpectedly and this place was perfect for us and our three little kiddos. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay up at the cabin! The owners were so friendly and helpful with showing us around. The cabin was beautifully decorated and well stocked. There were so many amenities available to us to use. We loved the privacy of the property and how quiet and serene it was. We hope to come back to make more family memories. We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with our family (my wife, our 23-month-old, 7-week-old, and our Labrador). It was the perfect peaceful getaway. The setting is private and serene, nestled right on the Kettle River, and the cabin itself was spotless and cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made it easy to cook meals, and we enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and around the firepit. One of our favorite moments was enjoying coffee on the deck while listening to the river. Our toddler loved exploring the outdoor space, and our Lab had the time of his life sniffing around the woods. The host was incredibly responsive and proactive throughout our stay, which made everything smooth from start to finish. It’s also conveniently located, just 10 minutes from a grocery store and a few restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a beautiful natural setting.

A truly magical escape! From the moment we stepped into this cabin, it felt like walking into a storybook. Every corner was full of love, thoughtfulness, and hidden treasures. It was like staying in a living museum—so many charming details to take in, quirky pieces to admire, and cozy nooks to explore. There was something new to appreciate each day. Our kids were absolutely enchanted! They spent hours playing with the games, LEGOs, army men, and other little gems tucked around the cabin. Their imaginations ran wild—and so did their energy (thankfully!). The surrounding nature was the perfect playground: long nature walks, climbing trees, watching birds and critters—it was nonstop adventure from sunrise to sunset. And after all that fun? The beds were like clouds. So comfortable, we all slept like logs every night. We are so grateful to have found this slice of magic and can’t wait to return. It’s more than a stay—it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave.

Our stay was short but we loved it here. David greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly and made us feel at home. We got to play with his pup Mesa a few times! She was a sweetheart. The place was clean and had a beautiful view from the living room window out to the lake! David also allowed us to check in early which was a plus!!

Really enjoyed this space, gorgeous lake view, with that up north feel! Peaceful and charming! What you'll find: Rustic cabin with amenities. Has a full kitchen, with WIFI, and spacious living space with dining table. Has a deck, grill-bring charcoal/lighter fluid. There's front entry for shoes/outdoor gear. There is also a fire pit-provide your own wood. Great space to use as your base to travel to adventures in the area. There is a dock on the lake. Nice rear deck, spacious yard and lake for swimming, expect to jump off a dock to swim. Quiet neighbors for the most part. Nice shower and bathroom. Definetly works for a family if you're looking to prepare your meals and have a space to do so, this is the place!
