Cottage vacation rentals in Caribbean

This place is perfect! A true piece of paradise in southern Florida! My wife and I were looking to spend a relaxing, anniversary weekend, sitting back, with no agenda, just enjoying some privacy, surrounded by nature. We got exactly what we were looking for here. The property is beautiful! Trees, plants and flowers everywhere. Everything was maintained perfectly. We had a fire pit, tiki hut, hammocks, hot tub, kayaks, and the entire pool to ourselves while we were there. We spent quite a bit of time just sitting out on the boat dock in the Adirondack chairs enjoying the cool breeze and watching the wildlife. There is a TV in the tiki hut that you can watch while relaxing in the hot tub or sitting at the bar having a glass of wine. Inside you have plenty of everything that you need to feel like home while you're there. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of extra toiletries in the bathroom in case you left anything behind. We highly recommend this place and will plan another visit for sure

This spot was perfect for our trip. We had 2 adult couples and both of us felt that we had plenty of privacy and the communal places had plenty of room for all 4 of us! The patio and hot tub was a great outdoor hang out spot. The area is super private and quiet, a perfect little neighborhood! Gaby was incredible! So fast to answer questions and always friendly. Highly recommended 10 out of 10!

Staying at Casa Bambu was a delight from start to finish. It was our quaint getaway in the rainforest that was romantic and also homey. Was a great way for us to be a little bit immersed in the local Costa Rican culture. Plenty of options nearby to take care of all your needs, without being situated right in the center of town. Would gladly recommend this place to stay to anyone going to La Fortuna.

Absolutely amazing. Peaceful, beautiful, amazing. The host is also extremely responsive and helpful. It was such a nice experience and I would love to come back some day.

Our group had a lovely stay at Jose's. It was clean, comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Jose was responsive, proactive in offering information/recommendations, and welcoming. I would return in a heartbeat, and recommend it to others just as soon.

Great space, wonderful views and the grounds were beautiful with all the flowers. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were nice and cozy. Stopped there as a half way point to the Caribbean coast. Was a tad difficult finding, but it was in the dark and once we got to Aquarius and looked at the pictures we got there no problem. Host was responsive. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house.

A very cozy place, Julio and his family are very friendly and excellent hosts. The place is very quiet and private, excellent for those looking to relax and disconnect from the stress of the city. Strategically close to the tourist areas of La Fortuna but ideal for avoiding tourist traffic. The tour they offer is very nice, they have beautiful goats and horses too. Julio and his family are so kind that you feel like family. Pets are allowed and it's super safe for dogs, you can see that they take care of and love animals. I would definitely come back again.

An oasis surrounded by the jungle and sweet sounds of Mother Nature. Very clear instructions, easy to find and felt private. Can’t beat the location- it’s walking distance to Gozalandia falls! We enjoyed the hot tub and the porch with the hammock.

House and location was amazing! We had a few questions and host was very responsive. We will definitely be returning and recommend!

Very delightful place to stay with elegant simplicity and a very fresh ambiance. Our hosts are kind creative people who were always friendly and helpful. Their love of nature and gardening created such a beautiful experience for us to enjoy. Must mention the intelligently designed and stocked kitchen... best airbnb I've stayed in over the years. We were in town to work at an event and couldn't get to the beach, but it was very close! The whole street was quiet and very walkable. The garden outside was really pretty and the inside had a really beachy feel. Lots of color! Eva was a really nice host.

All around this was a great stay! Francisco was amazing at communication. He made sure any questions or concerns I had were answered prior to booking and then after I booked, he made sure that I was comfortable and we had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this location! It Is very private and it’s a single-family home so you’re able to feel comfortable knowing that you have an entire space to yourself. Plus the fact that it is privacy fenced in is great. We are in the process of relocating from across the country so there was plenty of storage and plenty of shelves in the unit. There is also ample amount of parking for two cars and the cool thing about it is the cars are parked inside of the gated area for safety.

Nothing beats waking up and walking to the beach within 3 minutes. We really enjoyed all the beach amenities provided for our use. It made our trip so easy! Although the area is still cleaning up after the hurricane, it is heartwarming to watching this beautiful community come together. Very friendly neighbors, everyone always greeted us with a, "Good morning!" Thank you for making our trip stress-free for my husband's birthday. We have a soft spot for Manasota Key now, and can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay, George and Beth go above and beyond for their guest on the little amenities upon arrival and have a beautiful little cottage tucked away and hidden in a beautiful garden oasis with their lush environment of palms and plant life. A nice canal just steps away in the backyard. We seen peacock bass and a few other fish while checking it out and just an overall great place to relax. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hosts! Very clear and prompt communication. The house had everything we needed and additional items were provided to keep our baby comfortable. I was so excited they provided beach supplies and we put it all to use!

James and Tara are the best Hosts!!! Very responsive and extremely upbeat humans. We appreciate the ride to cruz bay as well! The airbnb was private and super clean. The view is incredible and the sounds of the roosters and donkeys added great ambiance Absolutely perfectly appointed. There's everything you need in the kitchen (and more) plus water/beach accessories (chairs, coolers, ice packs). The safe plus the washer and dryer were an unexpected bonus. Although the area is super safe, we loved that the community was gated for extra privacy. We loved our stay and hope to book longer than 5 days next year. Thank you James and Tara!

My fiancé, our 1 year old and I stayed here for the weekend and it was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back. There were kayaks and canoes to take into the river which was fun and free roaming farm animals. I was happy to see the Airbnb was spotless. We felt right at home immediately!

From the get go we felt very welcome and at home. Harriet and her assistant, Tia were both there to greet us upon arrival and settled us into the property. The cottage is beautifully appointed with quality furnishings and appliances and spotlessly clean. The setting is wonderful : pristine beach, extremely quiet and it felt like we were on our own island paradise. Plenty of furniture in the well manicured gardens, which lead straight onto the beach with plenty of options for sun and shade. We particularly enjoyed taking the kayaks out early each morning into the large bay area with still and beautifully clear warm water. I was so pleased with my little cottage. Very clean and all the little details were there to make my stay comfortable. Located in a quiet neighborhood. I felt very safe. A good location to grocery store, restaurants and beaches. A very short walk to a wonderful Mexican restaurant, Paraiso. Angelika can often be found outside in her vast garden areas. Told me to help myself to her tomatoes! Met her husband Al who was also very pleasant and friendly. I liked the fact they lived next door. Although located off a busy street it is quiet and can’t even be seen from the street due to all the large foliage that surrounds it. I would definitely recommend this to a single person or couple who want a comfortable place to stay and easily accessible to wherever you may want to go.

I have traveled the world and this home was even more beautiful in person, we saved thousands being able to cook in a well equipped kitchen a full ready to use grill. The washer dry and dishwasher make you feel at home. Close to everything yet on a quiet street with your own pool and deck for privacy. Coming home to this space at the end of the day made this island even more enjoyable. Side note I traveled with my 14 year old son, the pool to spend time decompressing at the end of the day allowed for some awesome bonding time. ( at this age bonding time is priceless)Also it was really nice our first night there Nat had me follow her to get groceries and back to the house so I could stock the fridge .We thank you for this wonderful experience, we will be back.

Such a great find! Very cool open air spot, tucked away but also very walkable. Sylvia was fantastic from picking us up to showing us around. Very cool vacation!

It was a very nice stay, with very well kept houses in the middle of a very special garden. The fully equipped house and the host's trust is amazing, plus the village of Cahuita and the National Park is highly recommended .
