Zevers and Charlisia were excellent at communicating with us, especially given the ferry to Statia broke down and was cancelled on the day of our checkin. Despite this, they were flexible and accommodating. The apartment itself was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay at Isabel's place. Wonderful cottage in a friendly, secure gated compound. The cottage was spotless and is extremely well appointed with quality furnishings well stocked for any length of stay. Great host and genuinely warm hospitality. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place and special "off grid" stay. Spacious stylish stay and spacious garden around guesthouse. Everything is well arranged. Only at night a bit noisy with open windows and doors (for wind blowing). Much more fun than a resort we think.

The villa is framed by lush tropical greenery, with large windows allowing for natural light to fill the interior. A pebble pathway leads through vibrant floral accents towards the entrance, enhancing the villa's tranquil setting.

We loved our stay - villa was exactly as advertised. Walkable to the beach and many great restaurants. Birds in backyard were an extra benefit. Only complaint, which had nothing to do with the host, was construction in the area which was a tad noisy. If we return to Bonaire - we will definitely be back!

A stay in Hans's eco resort is not for everyone, but certainly something for us, a group of biologists with interest in everything that grows, blooms or breathes. It's in the middle of the kunuku. The house has an outdoor shower (I used every day) a lookout tower over the kunuku. But also good working wifi and good cornuis and fridge so we could also cook and continue to work when we came out of the field. Top location
