Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Carentan les Marais

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Ideal town center location near shops, restaurants and bars. Very large unit with room to spread out. One very large bath with shower on main floor. Another large bath with tub only on upper floor. Two bedrooms each floor. Upper floor only accessible by spiral staircase. Hosts were very helpful. Met us at arrival. Great visitor sheet including local recommendations. We tried two of those restaurants and both were excellent.

Vincent is a great host. He was very accommodating with our check-in time. He greeted us at the apartment and showed us how everything works. Very responsive to our inquiries. The apartment is less than a 2-minute walk from downtown Bayeux, spacious, and well appointed. I highly recommend this place.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Logement superbement bien placé, proche de tous commerces et restaurants mais également des sites historiques de la région. Il est encore plus spacieux que nous le pensions, et la vue sur le port et la plage est exceptionnelle. Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour d'une semaine ici !

The best thing about staying here was the reception from Dominique & his wife & the location. They gave us a great introduction to the history of the area, the house and his personal connection to the Normandy landings. This was a country stay with a mishmash of furniture - this is not one of those new IKEA style Airbnbs - it felt a very authentic. All the important things worked, including great WIFI. We slept well thanks to a comfy bed, nice bed linen and black out blinds, you have a kettle and a Nespresso machine & everything to make a simple meal - 2 electric hot plates and a microwave. They were very gracious is letting us use their washing machine & dryer in the garage. The apartment is at one end of the house - up a flight of stairs, where you find an open plan kitchen/dining/living room & pull out bed, TV shower room/toilet. Up more stairs is a huge bedroom, with a standard double & a single bed. We loved all the reading books translated into English. A memorable stay

Zeer fijne plek in het centrum van Caen. Alles op loopafstand makkelijk te doen, voor verdere bestemmingen binnen Caen is er een tram station recht voor de deur. Al met al een hele fijne mooie plek om te zijn als je de stad van Caen wil bezoeken.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. le logement est idéalement situé pour pouvoir visiter les nombreux sites du débarquement. Nous avons pu profiter également des huîtres délicieuses a seulement 15min du logement ainsi que des délices gourmand que propose Isigny sur Mer. Le logement quand à lui est très bien équipé et très agréable à vivre. Il y a un grand nombre de rangement, de vaisselle et des ustensiles de cuisine adapté au nombre de convives. La cour est très agréable avec le terrain de pétanque et la grande étendue d'herbe. L'emplacement est calme et paisible. Merci aussi pour la petite attention dans le frigo. Bref, nous avons trouvé chez Anaëlle tout ce que nous étions venu chercher. Nous avons déjà prévu de revenir avec nos amis pour continuer à profiter de tout ce que propose cette belle région.

Magnifique logement. Situé à quelques pas de toutes commodités, vue extraordinaire sur le havre de Portbail. Très bien équipé, très propre, pratique, calme. Vraiment parfait Merci aux hôtes également pour leur accueil, conseils et disponibilité.

Dans la campagne normande, à proximité immédiate de la mer et au cœur des plages du débarquement, ce logement entièrement rénové et à la propreté irréprochable mérite amplement ces 5 étoiles! Les hôtes sont au petit soin, mention spéciale pour la bouteille de cidre. Nous y avons passé en famille un séjour mémorable, en souvenir de ceux qui sont tombés sur cette terre.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Je recommande vivement ce logement qui comporte tout ce dont on recherche, on se sent comme à la maison (tout est comme sur Les photos ). Ce qui est remarquable ç est la gentillesse, la disponibilité et le petit plus de Nathalie(la bienveillance ). Dernière chose,ce logement est très accessible pour les personnes ayant un handicap... Très bon logement pour un week-end à Sciotot. La plage est juste devant la maison. On entend les vagues du salon. Le logement est très propre, joli, rénové. On recommande.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Chantals liebevoll eingerichtetem Ferienhäuschen! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort rundum wohl. Chantal ist eine äußerst sympathische und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns mit tollen Tipps zu Ausflügen, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten versorgt hat – das hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert. Das Häuschen selbst ist frisch renoviert, mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders angenehm war auch der eigene, sichere Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch perfekt für Ausflüge, zum Beispiel zu den D-Day-Stränden oder ins wunderschöne Bayeux, das nur einen Katzensprung entfernt liegt. Wir können diese Unterkunft und Chantal als Gastgeberin wärmstens empfehlen – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Geweldig gehad; met vriendinnen een lang weekend geboekt, gebruik gemaakt van raclette (de slager is een goede tip!) en heerlijk in de serre gezeten in de avonden. Met een stukje rijden ben je bij de D-Day stranden of Mont Saint Michel. Een avond stroomstoring gehad en de charmante Celine was er binnen een kwartier om het (met monteur) op te lossen. Super service en top locatie!

I loved this place ! It was incredibly clean and very comfortable -- especially the bed. The apartment is within walking distance of everything, including the train station. There are great restaurants nearby and a grocery store a couple of blocks away. The pickup spot for the bus tours to the Normandy beaches are just around the corner, as is the Tapestry Museum. The location is just perfect. There are some steep stairs getting up to the front door and within the apartment itself, so someone with mobility issues might have problems, but other than that, this apartment is a 10\10 for me !

The place was nice, very clean and comfortable. The only trouble was locating it, there were no pictures of the outside and building did not look like a private residence. The check in instructions were on the app so I didn’t know to look for an additional email. But some came right out to assist us

Great position for Normandy enthusiasts. Quiet retreat at the end of the day. Walkable town from the apartment. Host was excetionally quick to respond to questions.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Arnaud que nous avons rencontré dans son jardin. L'environnement est extrêmement calme et reposant. L'appartement très lumineux, pour 2 personnes, est très bien aménagé et isolé (phonique et thermique). Le lit est un canapé convertible. L'équipement est très complet y compris sèche linge et machine à laver disponibles. En bonus, vous déposez également de Netflix. Le stationnement d'un véhicule se fait sans difficulté. Sideville est située à la campagne et ne dispose ni de restaurant, ni de boulangerie. Il faut se déplacer à quelques kilomètres en voiture. je recommande vivement cet hôte et ce logement. J'y retournerai !! 😎

Nous sommes deux couples de québécois qui souhaitions visiter les plages du débarquement et ses musées. L'appartement a très bien répondu à nos attentes: il est très bien situé (à 25 minutes à pied du musée de Juno Beach, notamment), dans un secteur tranquille. L'appartement comme tel est vraiment confortable, très propre, avec une cuisine bien équipée. Le lit et le divan-lit sont parfaits, nous avons tous très bien dormi! Merci Valérie et Manuel pour ce séjour exceptionnel!

Superbe appartement, calme et très bien équipé. La localisation est idéale : à 2 mn de la plage sans avoir de route à traverser, et à 10 petites minutes du centre de Julouville et des commerces. Le gros plus : les extérieurs avec les salons de jardin et la cour dans laquelle on peut garer les voitures. Le tout entouré d'une palissade qui fait qu'il n'y a aucun vis-à-vis. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Céline et Étienne mais ils sont hyper réactifs si nous avons besoin de quelque chose et très arrangeants. Je pense que nous y retournerons
