SUPERLATIVO !! Any positive comment will never be able to describe and exalt this wonderful place. Peace, nature, cooking, hospitality, love, animals are just some of the elements you can find here. You absolutely must spend a few days to experience the peace, the harmony that you can breathe. Thank you very much to Gabriela for welcoming us carefully and so much availability. Thanks also to Bina for her beautiful food and Lucio for the wonderful horseback ride. Bravissimi!

In general, the hotel is very conveniently located, almost immediately at the dock where the boat leaves you, right in front of the bay, which is also beautiful, and the sea is clean and calm. The facilities are very well maintained, the people in the area are very friendly and helpful. If you have reduced mobility or some type of disability, I don't think it's the best area for a vacation. Capurganá can be reached by boat (about 10 minutes) or on foot (just over an hour at a medium level of difficulty, good footwear is recommended). In my experience the accommodation was wonderful, its facilities very well maintained, its restaurant "Salitre & Selva" is delicious (it offers alternatives to seafood) and its prices are very fair, the view from the high cabins is very nice and the attention of Maya and Andrés as hosts is unbeatable. It's a fantastic place, of course I recommend it and it's a great destination to return to.

Patricia is very helpful (really) and friendly, knowledgeable about the sea and hiking trails - I would come back to her again. It provided a lot more than we expected, we had a great time. The house is very well located with a nice climate thanks to the vegetarian that surrounds it. Very safe neighborhood. There is an occasional power outage in the town, but of course this is independent from Patricia and not at all disruptive. At night it is necessary to charge all the appliances you need the next day.

David, Moises and his wife were excellent hosts, they made us feel at home and very safe, their recommendations were accurate and at all times they were willing to help us in everything we need, certainly one of the best experiences and much for their excellent vocation of service.

Laura was very attentive all the time, pending and answered any questions you may have, I help manage the tours and transportation. At the hotel the butler is a super attentive, sociable love, he helped us in everything and told us a lot about Capurganá and its surroundings.

The modern hotel exterior features a well-maintained swimming pool surrounded by lounge chairs. A Jacuzzi sits nearby, while a covered bar area offers refreshments. His place was only5 mins from the beach. A really great price. The AC helped so much with the heat. The food was amazing. And Claudia was so helpful and knowledgeable. A wonderful stay!

The fungus is a place to rest, you cannot use the kitchen and there is not much privacy, but you will be in a natural paradise, if you are looking to rest and connect with nature is the perfect place. Although Capurgana has a mobile signal, in the fungus they have good internet to work. Julian and his team are very friendly, quick to respond and are attentive to any concerns, have some delicious breakfasts. The surroundings are dreamy landscapes, where you can walk and see the intersection between jungle, sea and countryside, it is perfect for getting out renovated. It is close to Capurgana, and you can walk to Bahía avacate. It's spectacular to wake up to the sounds of the sea

I had a great stay here. Moises and Nancy were helpful and kind hosts. The meals offered were affordable and healthy with some of the ingredients coming directly from the property. It was nice to use the pool when I arrived. I hope to stay at Yalakú if I return to Capurganá

Finca Hotel El Hongo, Capurganá. Room For 2

We think there are only a few places in the world where we can stay that can be as perfect as this one, so close to nature and with such fantastic energy. We loved everything: the location, the setting, the comfortable bed, the wonderful balcony overlooking the sea, and the pets (Siete and the other seven). Close to town (~30 mins walk, or 10 mins in moto-taxi) but so far removed from all the hustle and bustle. Julian and Lili are the best hosts, Lili cooked breakfast and dinner for us, and every meal was excellent. We can't wait to come back, and I think we'll make sure we will. Thank you so much for welcoming us with open arms to El Hongo. See you soon <3

We enjoyed our stay here. Tomasa and Vladimir were excellent hosts. The room has a great AC that kept us cool after long days in hot humid sun

The hotel is advertised as a 15-minute boat ride from Capurganá, for the trip they charge $20,000 per person, the hotel has a prime location, Andrés and Maya take care of you very well, the food is delicious and the beach is very nice and private
