Dome vacation rentals in Cape Breton Island

We really enjoyed our stay in the dome. The sunrises were spectacular, and the stars were awesome. Access to the beach was very convenient, the showers were clean, and the staff was very friendly. We highly recommend this unique glamping experience.

Very nice people and a place full of joy ! Stayed 2 nights in the „Eagle dome“ which was really comfy and clean! Had really delicous dinner at the main lodge where paul played some music just for us and had nice conversations whith him and the other staffmembers. Also booked the hot tub at our dome for our last night from where we had a great view on the campfire. Lovely place where you see how much effort they put in every detail.

We loved our stay at the Northeast Cove Geodomes; it was fantastic. Lorna and Danny thought of everything for an elevated experience. In addition to the incredible views right on the water, the dome was immaculate and had everything one would need, from a coffee grinder (fresh beans provided) to a barbecue. Mabou is a beautiful area to explore fabulous beaches and amazing hikes.

It was really interesting & enjoyable staying in a Geodome. They seemed brand new & incredibly sturdy, with a well designed and outfitted interior including a full kitchen, bath, dining, and lounge area, in addition to a very comfortable bed! Heating unit worked well for comfort and hot water. There was a beautiful view of surrounding nature through a 90 degree "window" wall. Skylight in the dome provided additional natural light. 4 dome rentals on property in total, accurately sited to afford privacy for each. Harbour inlet location provided easy access to kayak from property with equipment provided. Danny, the owner was very friendly and helpful with anything needed. We would gladly stay here again! 9/10! It was beautiful! Coyotes howling at night too just made it so relaxing and peaceful. The dome is perfect and beautifully designed. All of the effort put into the small details for your stay is so thoughtful. Perfect Getaway to feel like you’re really one with nature where still being close to town. The only thing we had trouble with was wanting to connect the tv to our Bluetooth speaker but had no access to the settings. This did not at all take away from our little getaway. Just a suggestions for the owner. I rated 9/10 because the hottub didn’t stay at a comfortable temperature after popping the lid. We enjoyed our stay a lot though, and that did not define our trip. It was such a peaceful place. I will be back for sure. Beautiful stay! ✨

Stayed in a few domes! I would have to say it as the best one yet. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back.

Honestly such an amazing experience. So peaceful and comfy with everything I needed. Easy to find, and close to Antigonish. Make the trip to the provincial park and walk the beach as recommended by the host. I’ll definitely be back. :)

We spent two nights here and did not want to leave when the time came. We could have sat outside by the lake all day. Such a beautiful place to stay with a lot to do. Being able to use the kayaks and paddle Boards was the top of the trip. With the evening filled with bonfires and sitting out in the hot tub watching the stars it was paradise. Highly recommend this cottage for couples or even family vacations as it has a lot of rooms and kid activities in or outside !

Amazing all around, stayed for two nights & it was an absolutely stunning experience!! 10/10 recommend. Very clean, aesthetic, and peaceful. You’ll have a beautiful experience waking up in the morning hearing the waves and breathing in the fresh crisp air. We visited in April so I was a little worried that I would be cold but they have a full throttle heat pump located right above the bed, so wasn’t an issue. I loved the little seating room located at front of dome, it also has a full functional kitchen with a microwave, a fridge & stove top. There is also a bbq outside on deck right next to the hot tub:) lots of hiking trails around the area also, the domes were pet friendly also which my dog also had the time of his life ❣️ Thank you for a wonderful expierence and stay! We will be back!

This place was beautiful. First time staying in a dome and definitely was not disappointed. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. It was very cozy and homie. It was stocked with everything you needed and then some. They thought of everything. The private hot tub was amazing and the lake was steps away. The host was very responsive as well. If you are looking for a private getaway tucked away in the woods on a lake this place is highly recommended.

My wife, dog and myself all enjoyed the; beautiful scenery, privacy, and the overall experience of staying in a dome. Host gave clear and easy to follow instructions, recommendations for local restaurants and activities, clean area, clean hot tub and offered beautiful additions to our stay. Check in and out was smooth as silk, would definitely recommend and book with again!
