What a gem of a place to stay! Matthew and his family are very welcoming! The “white room” was perfect with lots of windows, very comfortable bed and wonderful linens. Bath was roomy with quality towels. I had an amazing dinner in their pub. Enjoyed a refreshment on the outside deck and moved inside for the best pasta. 100% recommend.

We love our stay in Rose's Apartment at the Salty Rose and Periwinkle Cafe. The décor was tasteful, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking basic meals - a must when visiting during the off-season when most restaurants are closed. Sarabath and Caitlyn provided clear instructions on how to access the apartment, and left some nice little touches such as soap from the neighboring soap-maker. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't enjoy a latte and pastry at the Periwinkle Cafe, as it had closed for the seasons a few days prior. But that's on us for visiting at the end of October when tourist season is done. We would 100% recommend the apartment to other travelers!

We loved the proximity to the Cabot Trail and the Highlands Park along with the lovely setting in a beautifully restored old house. The Lily room was comfortable and roomy. Besides the special treat of a morning specialty drink and pastry in the dining room, it was a bonus for us to meet and get to know other travelers, making new friends!

Adorable farm setting. Our room were facing the barn with sheep, goats, donkeys, cows etc. Was lucky to see and hold a 1day old goat while petting mama goat with the other hand. All the animals were so friendly en tame. Shannon was great, gave us our space but was also just there incase we needed something. The room was lovely, had everything we could think of and nicely styled. Rooms are on top of the lovely little soap store, with complimentary coffee & gelato for the guests. Refreshing experience!

My stay at the Archie & Isadore hotel was fantastic! The hosts were extremely responsive and made a wonderful recommendation to a local restaurant—they even offered to make a reservation for me the day before my arrival! The space itself was very stylish and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was clean, cozy, and well appointed with lots of snacks, coffee, tea, etc. I would absolutely stay here again!

Basil and Mathieu keep a beautiful auberge in a wonderful Acadian community - Cheticamp. We were super fortunate to be able to book this space on short notice - at 8:30 pm arriving just after 9. The room was spotless and very well accessorized with perfect linens, coffee maker, cold water and beverages, and snacks. The home is also equipped with a work out room, private hot tubs, and a shared space for morning munchies and a printer. We are AirBnB superhosts with a 5-star rating. This place is a true peer!

John’s charming Inn exceeded our expectations. The view from our Bay side window was spectacular. The room was quaint, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had all the amenities you needed. John took the time to say hello and share the history of this beautiful inn and village of Baddeck. His wealth of knowledge of the area and experience in hosting is second to none. We will look forward to our next stay.

This place is out of the way and not what we expected. But to our surprise it exceeded our expectations. We arrived and walked in to a Friday night music party going on beneath our room in the pub. We had drinks listened to amazing talented musicians and ate amazing food. Everyone from staff to locals were so welcoming and friendly and the host who seems to also run the pub was just so kind and pleasant and helpful. We would highly recommend but it is a little out of the way.

Super clean, quiet and in a central location. Easy to check in even after office hours. An excellent French restaurant just a couple minutes drive definitely a bonus. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is great in the next morning. Raymond is very helpful, I forgot my Apple earphone when I left. Raymond sent me a message even before I noticed, and he helped to mail me back.

We had a lovely stay at Carmen's. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We were busy attending an event this time but we hope to return another time to spend more time enjoying the beautiful space!

We thoughorly enjoyed our stay here. It was like being back in time. This vintage hotel is sweet and very characteristic of the period . It was established in 1895. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Host, Carmen, was so accommodating and is attentive to all your needs.

John is both engaging and a great ambassador for Baddeck and the Cabot Trail. His Inn is wonderful and full of local history. His knowledge of the area and recommendations where fantastic. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. We highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

We only stayed one night but thoroughly enjoyed. We had never stayed at an Inn before. It was so quiet. Plenty of room and really clean. Comfy bed too. Loved the surrounding area and the little park next door. The free breakfast was a bonus and I never enjoyed bacon and eggs so much!

Lovely, serene, thoughtfully designed and equipped room and bathroom. Very clean and with nice touches of luxury. Tasty made-to-order breakfast in a roomy dining room. The building is right near the main drag, which is quite convenient, but it also means that there is some road noise at night. It didn't bother me, but bring your earplugs or white noise if the sound of the occasional truck bothers you at night. Overall, a quite delightful place to stay.
