Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Capaccio Paestum

If you travel to the Amalfi Coast, grab this flat!! The views from the master bedroom and balcony are spectacular. The pictures show you exactly what you are getting. Actually, the flat was more spacious than we anticipated. Barbara is a first rate hostess. She responds to emails quickly. Barbara was extremely helpful in recommendations, and she helped us arrange a taxi for a longer day trip. She is very attentive. Positano was the best central location for day trips to Capri, Amalfi, Ravello and Pompeii. It's a great town and did not feel as packed/crowded as Amalfi. I highly recommend Positano as home base. Positano is ALL walking, so master the bus schedules. Be warned Uber does not operate along the Amalfi Coast and taxis are expensive. Plan accordingly - Barbara's flat is at the top of high hill (hence the great views), and once you're out and about, plan to stay out all day. My first time in Italy was a 10 star trip thanks to Barbara!

Great host, great house! Had everything you need, including some cute little geckos in the garden at night. We rented a car which helped to get to the supermarket and to Salerno which is well worth a visit. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Our home in Positano was the most beautiful in a most beautiful city. It was even better than the photos and exceeded our dreams. Fabrizia answered all my pre-trip concerns and questions and set us up with airport transfer and private driver. Carmella let us in and clearly explained everything at check in. The beds were comfortable and had extra blankets and pillows. The kitchen had everything we could need. The stairs are serious but all of Positano is stairs; that is part of the adventure of choosing to stay there. The home location was easy for grocery, restaurant, bus stop, and may I say once more, perfect for beauty.

What an amazing place to stay! The family were so welcoming and helpful with recommendations of places to visit and eat. The house is beautiful, very tastefully decorated with everything you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The views were absolutely phenomenal! The pictures do not do it justice and the garden was immaculately kept, felt very luxurious. The living space was great with a lovely fireplace making the evenings nice and cosy. Whilst extremely communicative hosts they did not bother us during our stay and the location was very private, but were very quick to respond if we needed anything. The only downside is that the views come with some difficult terrain to get there! Probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues without a hire car. As a semi fit young couple even we struggled up the hill after dinner! But ultimately the location would not put us off returning.

We had such a great time in Positano at this apartment! First, the hosts were so responsive and pleasant to interact with. We were greeted at a restaurant and helped with our bags down a couple of flights of stairs to the apartment. The place is so charming and full of light. It’s larger than it seemed to me in the photos. The views were insane! We felt so lucky to have found this exact place. Everything in Positano is either a walk-up or walk-down…lots of steps and stairs.. but this place was very conveniently located near restaurants and shops so that if you were tired from a long day of exploring, you could easily have a nice dinner or grab provisions near your place. We would definitely highly recommend place and if Simona has other properties to rent I would recommend her company in general because they took excellent care of us and responded within minutes if we had questions or needed anything. Great place and great host!

Giulia è stata accogliente, simpatica, precisa e discreta. Le abbiamo indicato l'ora di arrivo e ci ha dato un punto di incontro dal quale ci ha accompagnati alla casa. La casa è in una posizione raggiungibile in auto salendo su una stradina della collina con una vista panoramica sul golfo di Napoli (penisola sorrentina e capri) a dir poco eccezionale. La casa è molto particolare: su due piani, ha uno stile rustico di campagna piena di dettagli che la rendono unica. Ci sono due bagni completi con doccia, una camera da letto matrimoniale con armadio grande e un soggiorno da castello con camino e un divano letto matrimoniale molto comodo. Lenzuola e asciugamani puliti e profumati. Tutti gli accessori possibili e immaginabili erano presenti. Giulia ci ha lasciato tutto il necessario per poter eventualmente cucinare, e per fare colazione. La posizione della casa per noi è stata strategica per visitare Napoli (meno di 30 minuti dal centro) e gli scavi di Pompei (circa 20 minuti). Grazie!

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

Το σπίτι μας παρείχε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν και η τοποθεσία ήταν άψογη. Η Αννα Μαρία είναι αξιολάτρευτος άνθρωπος και μας βοήθησε πάρα πολύ!! Επίσης μας είχε αφήσει σοκολατάκια για το καλωσόρισμα τα οποία τα φάγαμε αμέσως! Τα δύο μπάνια μας βολέψανε πάρα πολυ! Επισης γνωρίσαμε και το πανέμορφο σκυλάκι τους το οποίο ήθελε μόνο χάδια. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα

L'appartamento è in pieno centro storico a 50m dal bellissimo Castelo Angioino Aragonese e parcheggio gratuito a 100m. Appartamento su 2 livelli con 2 bellissimi e confortevoli bagni con doccia grande. Cucina dotata di lavello, 4 fuochi a gas con accensione elettrica e forno a microonde, piatti, posate e stoviglie. 2 boiler per l'acqua calda. vista mare da entrambi i piani. Le scale del borgo ti portano in giro per i locali in alto e lo scalone ti fa scendere in centro città nuova e al porto.

Nossa estadia com Maria foi excelente. A casa é linda, os quartos são confortáveis e a casa tem 2 banheiros, o que é muito útil pra grupos maiores. A cozinha também é bem equipada. A rua pra acessar a casa é estreita, precisa de muita atenção e realmente não é feita pra carros grandes. Nosso carro era alugado, categoria COMPACT, recebemos o Peugeot 2008, que é um carro médio. Minha sensação é que o tamanho dele estava próximo do limite pra passar nas vias. Atenção a esse ponto pra não ter dor de cabeça. Fora isso, nossa experiência foi ótima e a Maria nos recepcionou muito bem. Recomendo esse local!

Salerno è una città che amo e Giovanni ha contribuito a farmela amare ancor di più. È un bravissimo Superhost ed estremamente professionale, gentile e disponibile. L’alloggio è pulito e dotato di ogni comfort oltre ad essere molto grande e luminoso. La zona la ritengo perfetta e strategica per esplorare Salerno o recarsi in costiera in quanto si trova in una zona tranquilla, fuori dal caos del centro, oltretutto il parcheggio per l’auto su strada è gratuito e sempre disponibile. Si può arrivare in centro tranquillamente a piedi e godersi il magnifico lungo mare di Salerno. Tornerò da Giovanni sicuramente.

So many great things to say! We had an incredible stay, and used this apartment as a base for visiting Positano, Amalfi, and Capri. Our vacation was fantastic and we would highly recommend this place to anyone! Location: The view is great! And everything is within easy walking distance. We never had to walk more than 20 minutes. Most things are downhill, so keep in mind that you must walk back uphill. Notably, the harbor is only a 10-15 minute walk away. Communication: All communication was done through the co-host David. He was very responsive and a huge help! He gave clear instructions and advice and was very flexible. He also helped by getting us a personal driver from and to Naples for a good price.

La casa di Cristina ci ha colpiti per il suo fascino, la sua storia e la cura particolare con cui ti accoglie e ti fa sentire a casa. È dotata di tutto ciò che può servire, vi si trova perfino una vera e propria biblioteca; incantevole la piccola terrazza con vista sul campanile. Si trova nel centro storico di Buccino, tra siti archeologici d’interesse, a piedi si raggiungono i servizi principali e ottimi ristoranti. Perfetto punto di partenza per visitare la splendida zona con l’auto. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornarci per quattro giorni, saremmo volentieri rimasti più a lungo. Cristina è stata un host speciale, non ci ha fatto mancare niente ed ha sempre anticipato ogni nostra richiesta. Sicuramente un posto in cui tornare.

L’appartamento, anche se non nuovissimo, mantiene quello che promette, cioè spazio in abbondanza per 4-5 persone, tranquillità e una bella vista sul paese, le colline e il mare (specie al tramonto). Molto apprezzata la disponibilità di parcheggio sia a Centola, sia a Palinuro. L’ospite, Raffaele, è una persona cordiale e discreta, sempre reperibile e disponibile a dare informazioni. In sintesi, esperienza senz’altro positiva

Don’t hesitate, just book Ida’s apartment!! The views are legitimately the best I’ve experienced from an Airbnb. The steep hill up wasn’t an issue for me, but challenging for my 70 year old mother. Fortunately the local bus is at the bottom of the hill that takes you up for 2 Euros. Ida was super helpful with all provided information and easy to communicate with. Only minor issue was the water shower pressure was inconsistent during a storm. Given most of the buildings in this area being on top of a hill, I wasn’t overly surprised. It would not stop me though from staying here again!

The views at Villa FUENTI are breathtaking. The photos do not do it justice. Amazing villa with plenty of space inside and incredible outdoor space to enjoy. Jason and Gianluca are amazing hosts who will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. It is worth mentioning that you must use the shuttle service to take to the nearby towns to eat and shop as it is not possible to walk on the busy narrow road. This was not an inconvenience and the private shuttle is only 3 euros a person and will pick you up within 10 minutes after you call them. If you are looking for a private relaxing stay away from the busy feel of Positano or Amalfi this is absolutely your place. Thank you for an amazing stay !

My family and I have stayed at Airbnbs throughout the world and Vittorio's home instantly became one of our very favorites. Not only because of the beautiful home but because of the hosts going above and beyond to help us have an incredible vacation. First, know that the home is even nicer in person than it appears online. It is modern yet charming, airy, light, with views in nearly every room. The deck and yard are true peaceful oases. The stairs are not bad to get down to the home at all - we had a 3 year old and older folks with us as well who handled it fine. Second, the hosts are amazing. They organized transfers to and from the Naples airport, met us at check in to carry our bags, delivered groceries quickly upon request - even ran to the pharmacy for us when our daughter became sick - organized our trip to Capri, Ravello, Amalfi... and gave us an amazing cooking course on site. Don't hesitate — book this place if you want a peaceful and easy trip to Amalfi.

This place and hosts genuinely exceeded all our expectations. Villa Rosella was absolutely spotless and immaculate! Franco (host) who lives right above the villa, thoughtfully provided us with a bottle of local wine, coffee, and some basicfood which was such a lovely touch after our long journey. He also spoiled us with local pastries left on our porch table every single morning, which became a cherished part of our routine. The beds were incredibly comfortable and cozy, ensuring restful nights. The convenience of a washing machine, complete with detergent, was also a significant bonus for a family on vacation. On our departure, Franco's generosity continued with a parting gift of homemade Limoncello, crafted with lemons from his own garden – a truly authentic and memorable souvenir. I honestly cannot praise Franco and Marco enough. If you're looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Amalfi Coast, stop searching and book this villa. You absolutely will not be disappointed.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen in der Villa. Insgesamt kann man aber auch einfach mit 14 Personen gut übernachten. Der Host war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns auch während des Aufenthalts mit Tipps unterstützt. Die Villa und insbesondere der Pool sind toll und der Blick aufs Meer traumhaft. Es handelt sich um ein älteres Gebäude. Dementsprechend sind die Einrichtungen schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auch ist das Gebäude insgesamt etwas feucht und hat an der ein oder anderen Stelle (zumindest Stand Ende 2024) leichte Schimmelspuren. Ansonsten ist aber alles notwendige vorhanden und insbesondere der Poolbereich ist in einwandfreiem Zustand! Die Villa ist super gelegen und auch die unmittelbaren Stadt ist reichhaltig an tollen gastronomischen Angeboten. Am Eingang der Amalfiküste gelegen ist es der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für eine Tour entlang der Küste. Auto oder anderes Fahrzeug zwingend notwendig!

We loved our stay here. The view was unbelievable, beautiful! Very quiet & peaceful. Very clean. Francesca communicated very well either us…friendly, very helpful.

We loved staying at Tina’s place. It was stunning but at the same time very comfortable. We all slept very well. The bedrooms were beautiful and each had their own bathroom or ensuite. The pool was great as well. Tina was such a lovely and helpful host. She obviously cares about her guests and the villa. We loved the location and would recommend a car. It was so quiet compared to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely recommend Tina’s place and would love to go back one day. Grazie Tina.

Our 3-night stay in Praiano was the highlight of our trip—we only wish we had stayed longer! Francesca and Agostino were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. After a train delay in Naples, Agostino went out of his way to arrange a taxi for us and greeted us upon arrival, even though we got in late. He showed us around and even provided delicious snacks and treats, which were so appreciated after a long travel day. Waking up to the breathtaking views was incredible, and our kids loved swimming in the jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. The location is perfect—close to restaurants, the beach, and the bus stop to neighboring towns like Positano. We loved how quiet and charming Praiano is and are so glad we chose to stay here. Francesca and Agostino clearly take pride in their space and have thought of every detail, from the beautiful decor to all the modern luxuries and amenities. We would absolutely recommend this place to others and hope to return for a longer stay someday!
