Babies up to 2 years old are welcome (free of charge) with a travel cot and high chair supplied. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be made available.

A gorgeous stopping off place for us en route from the Isle of Skye to the south of England. Particularly loved the living space on the first floor, the 2 bathrooms with rainfall showers and the comfortable beds. The house is located on a quiet back street in a very pretty village-would have been a great base for walking had we had more time. Barry was super responsive, very flexible regarding check in and check out and gave us some good recommendations for dinner. Couldn’t fault it and have already recommended to friends.

Fantastic central for loads of great adventures, and beautiful alone to just stay and potter. We feel so very relaxed and recharged and also extremely honoured to have been given the privilege. What a little gem, an amazing find & exactly what we needed for our stay in Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage was extremely well presented with a lot of thought put into the decor & just as it was described & looked like in the pictures. We had a very comfortable & relaxing stay with our friends & their 2 dogs. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay & explore in or near Kirkby Lonsdale. Thank you David for all the little extras, they were much appreciated & such a lovely surprise. We loved your cottage & have thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

Tree Cross cottage is very comfortable, thoughtfully furnished, clean and well maintained. Clare, the host, is very responsive. She provided detailed guidelines and good local recommendations too. The location is good to travel around Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Most places we visited whilst staying here were 20 to 50 mins away by car - lakes, waterfalls, caves, scenic walks, farms, museums. Kirby Lonsdale, the nearest town at 5 mins driving distance, is very charming and scenic too.
