The Ancient Baglio - Dammuso 'Il Gelso'

The Antico Baglio (“U Bagghiu” in Sicilian) is the only building of its kind in Pantelleria and dates back to around 1700. It is located in the Sesi archaeological area, 400 meters as the crow flies from the coast, 9 minutes from the town of Pantelleria and 14 minutes from the airport. It is made up of four independent Dammusi which can be accessed from the beautiful internal patio. A place of relaxation, in which you can enjoy a timeless atmosphere with typical Mediterranean rhythms and scents!

If you want to discover the soul of Pantelleria our dammuso is what you are looking for! With sea view, sun terrace, outdoor kitchen and pool, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, it is located in the northeast area of the island, very practical and at the same time quiet! The property is powered 100% by photovoltaic energy to reduce our impact on the environment and that of your holidays! The dammuso is not part of any resort and is managed directly by us who live there! :)

Beautiful house, clean and has all the necessary comfort. Located 5 minutes by car from the port of Pantelleria, for this supermarkets, bars and shops are very close. The location also allows the most beautiful beaches to be reachable in a maximum of 30-40 minutes by car. Our point of reference was Gianluca's father, a very special person, very kind and always available, he gave us advice on the island and came to the rescue when the car was blocked in the middle of the street despite being late at night. We can therefore say that the stay was on the line, if not higher than our expectations and if we come back we will definitely choose them!

Francesco's dammuso gave our family a special experience on the island of Pantelleria. The house is located in the middle of the vineyards and from the panoramic roof terrace we enjoyed the view for breakfast and dinner. A beautiful decorative garden. A convenient outdoor shower. The functional and well-maintained interior is always fresh. We slept very well. I would say it is a perfect place for those who love nature and tranquility. We fell in love and if we were to return to the island we will return here. Francesco gave us a lot of useful information and was flexible with the checkout, which we really appreciated. Our children really enjoyed the house and had the opportunity to explore and play. See you soon and thank you

Very pleasant stay in Amico's dammuso and flexible check-in coordinated by Carola. Truly wonderful location in the countryside around Sibà with truly breathtaking views, as you can see in the photos. Access road a little uncomfortable but in the norm of Pantelleria. I'd go back, recommended.

Simona’s property is located in an unbelievable awesome spot of the island of Pantelleria, not the usual Dammuso typical of the island, a modern charming variant . Pantelleria is a full relaxing , recharging and chillout place, The view from any point of the property is insanely gorgeous. For the lovers of sunrise view this place its a little nest in heaven! Simona was extremely helpful and Pino her caretaker was extremely kind and always ready to help us. Definitely an added value to the whole package. If back to the East side of the island we will definitely take Simona’s house in consideration

We had a really good time, we were welcomed in the best way by the caretaker of the dammuso, who made himself very available for the duration of the stay, immediately resolving every small problem that arose. Only negative note: the bad smell emanated from the pipes of one of the bathrooms, however absolutely bearable.
