Lubec Log Cabin on the Cove w/ pool table

TeresaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was amazing once again! The house itself is beautifully designed with a deck overlooking beautiful sunrises with water views and sounds of nature all around. It is a tranquil place to relax and unwind. The home is well equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed use of the grill and propane fire pit. There is also a beautiful area with a fire pit overlooking the water. We were also able to access our internet and stream movies on the TV in the evening with a fire going in the very large, beautiful, stone fireplace. We enjoyed the garage amenities; pool table, darts, and corn hole. The ambiance itself makes it truly a dream vacation. This home is a gem! Thank you, once again, Nikki and Matt for sharing this beautiful retreat with us! Terry & Doug

Peaceful Down East Lake cabin

KellyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Johanna’s home is absolutely beautiful. It is everything you want in a lake cabin- perfectly cozy, serene and peaceful. We spent hours on the screened in porch staring out at the water. Stocked with cooking supplies, and lots of water crafts for the lake, this space has everything you need and more. Johanna was extremely friendly, helpful, generous and amazingly hospitable. They were so helpful and commutative, before and during our stay. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer! We can’t wait to come back.

Our group had a wonderful week at Barrows Lake. The house was clean, with lots of room for everyone while still having a cozy feel. The lake was clean and we spent a lot of time swimming and paddle boarding. The host was great with instructions and communication. I would recommend this rental, and we hope to return someday!

Peaceful Oceanfront Cabin

MargaretRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The cabin is great! The scenery is beautiful. We spent most of our time out on the deck watching for seals and enjoying the birds. We only had a few questions about the cabin and John responded quickly and in a friendly fashion. I felt the description of the cabin matched the reality. It was a great place to unwind. We hope to stay there again.

New River A frame

SamanthaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This was an absolutely beautiful and peaceful stay. Quiet with beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the oven did not work so we had to venture to a nearby spot for food - which wasn’t bad. If you’re planning a stay, I think it’s important to realize that the “stairs” are more like a latter - take extra care if you have mobility issues or have been drinking lol Would recommend!

Renovated! Island living on Maine's Bold Coast

CoreyRating, 5 stars44 months ago
If you want to have all things Maine, water, the rugged coast, hiking, fresh lobster, and more, AND you want to have quiet, privacy, all the amenities you need, this is a place to consider. Everything in listing was exactly as stated. Off the main tourist centers but within driving distance. Rent a car and you'll have it all. It was just what we wanted for a week in Maine, maybe for you as well. Rick and Denise were very quick to respond to any communications, although there really wasn't anything needed.

Charming Seaside Home

MelanieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Our stay at "Arcady" was perfect! Jill was an amazing hostess and was very easy to communicate with. The house was absolutely stunning with beautiful antiques throughout. Jill shared the history of Arcady with us and as soon as you step through the front door, you immediately feel like you're a part of that history. Around every corner in Arcady is either a hidden room or passage way, which made our stay even more fun. The surroundings are picture-perfect; a bird-watchers paradise! We saw several Eagles, Cormorants, and Loons. We can't wait to return to Arcady for our next vacation.

Cozy Cottage on the water!

KatRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Beth’s cabin was a gem! The water was beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking and floating around on rafts. We shopped and explored the falls in Machias only 10 miles away. The air conditioning and heat worked great. We made a blueberry pie with a quart of Maine blueberries from the general store in Machias. It was awesome. Would love to come again. Listening to the loons at night is magical. ☺️☺️

Mary Adeline Cabin at Welch Farm

SabrinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a beautiful farm to stay on. Having access to walk to the different locations was such a treat. Knowing now that the cabins are right next to each other, this would make a great spot for a multi-group camping trip. There was some noise from cars on the road nearby but in general it was a beautiful spot. The beds were comfortable, the water was very hot and efficient. The cabin is not insulated so it was a little chilly at night (in May) but we were provided two heaters and warm blankets so we stayed cozy. Ours kids had a blast. Thank you Lisa!
