We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. The house was great! We felt totally secluded and private but within an hour or less of MANY great things to do such as hiking, great restaurants and cool attractions. we probably could have had a great week just staying at the house though :)

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

My husband and I came back to Maine to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, this cabin was the absolute most perfect place to do so! The photos are so beautiful, but arriving and walking into this space was unmatched! You can tell how much attention and intention is put into this cabin. I have never felt more relaxed, safe, and comfortable in an Airbnb before. I’m a bit of a germ freak and can’t sleep in most beds that aren’t my own but that wasn’t even close to being the case here! The space is SO clean, including the bathroom! For a detached space I cannot believe how cozy and clean it felt. Our fur baby came with us, she’s a medium sized dog, the space was so accommodating for her! There were treats (which she loved) and food bowls for her! The property is the perfect size to allow your fur baby to stretch their legs too! Indie especially loved the adult bean bag chair, we could not keep her off! We will 100% be coming back, so grateful for our stay. Thank you for having us!

We had a great time at the Bambi Inn! Our family loved our time at this private gem of a getaway, plenty of things to do (or not do and just relax) Items and procedures unique to this cottage were clearly labeled which made our stay there easy peasy! Penty of recommendations and items we didn't know we need were there also! Close proximity to Mount Desert Island and Acadia, as well as Lamoine beach state Park for walking etc. Char was super responsive, welcoming, and helpful too! All in all, a wonderful vacation getaway experience!

We had a wonderful time at Misty’s cottage! The property was so peaceful and private - you’ll have a great time even when visiting during the off-season. The cottage itself was homey, clean, and decorated so nicely. Misty was also proactive in making sure we made it inside okay upon our arrival - she is a welcoming and attentive host. We would definitely stay here again!

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

Beautiful cabin and camp area. The place feels very safe and calm. Excellent for traveling with your family and spending time in nature. Marlene was super responsive and friendly.

We only slept here for one night, but it was a great place to visit Arcadia national park! It is close by and not too expensive. The host was great and made the check in and check out very easy.

This cabin was great for our family. It was very clean and just the right amount of space for our family of four. Or kids loved the playground and pool. Quick and easy drive to Belfast. Acadia and Bar Harbor were 45 mins to an hour drive. We enjoyed our visit!

Donna's home is a beautiful cozy cabin, we felt home right away ! The decoration is tasteful, the pool was a nice add on. 100% would come back!

We had a wonderful visit at Caitlin’s cozy cabin! Loved watching the sunrise in the morning from the front porch and winding down with a glass of wine in the evening outside. Caitlin and Jackie were both very responsive and great hosts - will be staying here again!

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

My husband and I had a great 3-night stay at Liz’s cabin. It was an enchanting place to spend a rainy long weekend with all the warmth and coziness that one would want from a cabin in the woods. As others have noted, the location is superbly private and relaxing! We loved sitting by the fire, having our morning coffee on the enclosed porch and walking the pond-side trails right outside the front door. The cabin makes for a great jumping-off point, too, for lots of great things to explore in the midcoast including Odd Ale Wives, Oxbow Brewing and some great eats in Damariscotta. We really enjoyed our time. Liz and her husband were awesome hosts.

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend the week, and I couldn’t be more happy. The hosts were communicative and friendly; offering great local recommendations. My girlfriend and I would be more than happy to stay here again!

Lovely location, and cozy little cabin, close to Damariscotta. My boyfriend and I took a weekend away and I told him I just wanted to be in the middle of the woods for a night. Enjoyed the hammock chairs and home cooked breakfast on the porch, despite the rain. Only regret was not meeting Sherri and/or Joel since I opted for self-check-in. Hope to return!

Had a great and peaceful stay. The place was very clean and had everything one needs for a relaxed vacation. Loved the nature all around and the environment it created to actually relax.
