Farmstay vacation rentals in Calgary Metropolitan Area

My friends and I absolutely loved The Deer Cabin. It was clean and spacious. Very equipped kitchen. Although we ended up staying mostly indoor due to rain but the sun room provided a lot of space for kids to run around playing indoor games. Spencer was more than helpful! He was fast in responding to all inquiries. Check in/out process was smooth and easy. Highly recommended this cabin to everyone! We are looking into booking again for next gathering with friends & families.

Claire and Michael's place was perfect for our group! It provided us with ample living, sleeping, and outdoor space to do a ton of different activities. The house is stocked with items you don't even know you'll need to make your stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodated early check in to allow us to decorate the space before the bride-to-be's arrival. Loved it!

We had an amazing stay with our kids. Laurel was amazing and also included a tour around the facility, interaction with horses. We enjoyed our stay.

Pam is the greatest host I’ve ever booked with, she’s super nice, always making sure you have whatever you need, she communicates great. On my day off I had the privilege to see the horses and walk around her property and it is the most peaceful and beautiful surroundings I’ve ever seen. The room is super comfortable, very clean and had some great sleeps every night. I will be booking with Pam whenever I’m in the area. Thank you so much Pam you are absolutely a wonderful women

Our stay at RTR Ranch was lovely. It's so incredibly peaceful and quiet. Jlo, was a lovely addition to our stay, she was always around and we loved seeing her. Amanda and Daryl, it was a pleasure.

Very nice and interesting place to stay. Outside Calgary but a reasonable drive to the airport, which is where we were heading the next stay. Laurel was a very good host and was kind enough to give us all an intro to her horse therapy school and have a chance to meet the horses and groom them. The kids loved it! Would definitely recommend if you want something a little different and where your stay will be supporting a worthy cause.

This was a beautiful and spacious place to stay for us and two ( teen and pre teen) kids. Gorgeous property and lands around it were stunning. Oleg was very helpful and we were really grateful to have chosen this place.

We were looking for a relaxing spot for a family get together. Ceanna's cabin fit the bill perfectly. Log cabin with a beautiful interior and nice sized rooms is only beat by sitting on the deck looking down a beautiful, tranquil valley. A really nice relaxing weekend.

We absolutely loved Randy & Syna’s cabin. It clearly has been set up with a lot of thoughtfulness and care, providing every amenity possible for a rural stay and delighting us with its small details. We enjoyed sitting in the patio outdoors, overlooking beautiful vast fields. The kitchen is top notch and we cooked a variety of things with ease. When I hurt my ankle and couldn’t easily climb up the stairs to stay in the loft, I was able to sleep in a comfortable futon at the lower level. Everything was comfortable and luxurious, with character, unlike a hotel room you might stay in for more money. If you like to enjoy the places you stay in rather than using them only as a base, I highly recommend this one.

I needed a few days out of the city and this is exactly what I needed. Tamara’s place was perfect! clean and spotless and everything that was in the ad was in the place. I love that there’s no TV but Wi-Fi so you still can connect to the world there’s a little service and it’s a little oasis is what I called it. I had a hurt wrist and Tamara hurried over when I needed the water jug changed to help me out in a heartbeat. This place will always have a special place in my heart and so will Tamara I will be back and she knows it 🥰❤️

My third stay at Louise’s gorgeous place. Louise is always friendly and welcoming, and goes aboveboard to make me feel at home. I had the choice of a different bedroom this time, and found the bed to be so comfy, that I had the best night’s sleep of the whole 2 week trip! Just wish that I hadn’t been too tired to sit outside that evening, as I love to listen to the sounds of the nighttime critters. It’s lovely to stay in a place with a bath and a shower, and to have enough room in the lounge to pack both of my cases before I fly home. An added bonus this time was being invited to join Louise and her husband for coffee and home made cookies before I left for the airport. Thanks again for a great stay Louise. Hope to see you soon.

Fantastic little hobby ranch! The accommodations were great. New, modern, clean and comfortable. All amenities (kitchen, hot tub, bbq, bedrooms) were as described and very clean. We felt very comfortable and had a lovely little anniversary getaway. The proximity to the town of Bragg Creek is great. We went here for dinner and lunch. The only downside would be the noise from the traffic. Definitely worth the visit and the stay here though, despite this little downside. The attention to detail in the amenities and decor made our stay feel homey and comfortable. We would definitely return here again!

When you stay at Travis and Deanna’s place, you certainly feel right at home. They were so thoughtful and added the most beautiful touches to make us feel so welcomed and special. Deanna’s designs made us all speechless, we had so much to look at and enjoy… constant smiles for our whole stay! We felt as if we were on a fairytale vacation. That being said, we can’t wait to suggest this stay to anyone that asks! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! A stay we will not forget!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! It was great to get out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy surrounding areas. Her place was unique + quiet. The Airbnb was more than adequately equipped and stocked!

Great property well maintained and cleanliness was awesome n the owner is very friendly and the view from the house is spectacular cos you can see the whole skyline of Calgary city in the night

Sonja is very friendly and helpful. Horseback riding was great and reasonably priced, also very safety conscious. She even took us to see the new foals afterwards. The place is actually better than it looks in the photos, lots of space, very well stocked kitchen. Great place for a girls weekend.

We stayed at this cabin for a whole month and it was amazing! It is super clean, has a beautiful view and everything you need. The horses come right up to the cabin and there are so many trails to explore. The dirt road to the cabin is a bit spicy but if our Honda Fit can make it (in the fall-no snow) so can your car. :)

Excellent location to attend a local wedding. The kitchen was comfortable & the seating in the living room was excellent for us all to sit around & visit. The views are spectacular around the house & morning coffee on the deck with the creek running in the background was so zen. Highly recommend Jan as a hostess she always answered me in a timely manner. 10/10 I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was peaceful and enjoyable. The house was spacious and offered plenty of privacy. We appreciated the well-maintained garden, the comfortable amenities, and the quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect getaway for relaxation and unwinding.

We had a great girls' weekend and had the whole place to ourselves. It is actually better than in the photos, and very spacious. The view of the arena from the upstairs and the arena room are especially nice. A horse came to our deck to say hello, lol. We went horseback riding and felt the experience was fun, safe, and our helpers/Sonja were knowledgeable. The price was also reasonable. Sonja even took us out to see the new foals! We went hiking and mountain biking nearby as well, and visited the meadery and the saloon. Water Valley is a beautiful area. All in all a fun weekend together!

A fantastic space for a larger family. Beautiful views in every direction. Great location, close to everything. The new community is perfect to explore and experience the best of Canmore. Highly recommend this location.

Perfect place for our Christmas vacation. The cabin feels like you’re miles away from civilization, but in reality it is 20 minutes from downtown and 8 minutes to the nearest amenities (grocery/liquor stores, restaurants, etc). The view from the cabin is fabulous- rolling hills and a wide open view of the Rockies. It’s super cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed for a week. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything one might need, including everything required to make a full turkey dinner spread. Our dog Hank extra loved that it was dog friendly and that there were some neat walking trails through the property. The llamas and chickens were a fun addition and we had fresh eggs anytime we wanted. We also saw lots of wildlife including deer, moose and coyotes. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas and there was even a tree! It is obvious that this is a well loved family cabin and we felt right at home. We would definitely rent this place again!
