From the warm welcome to the thoughtful recommendations for local activities, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. The communication was seamless, and she made us feel like family. The amenities were top-notch, from the infinity pool to the delicious meals provided by her onsite restaurant. Exploring the surrounding area was a breeze thanks to Mel’s guidance. We had an unforgettable island-hopping tour, complete with snorkeling in vibrant coral reefs and relaxing on pristine beaches. This is a beautiful property with great people and amazing views! The Villas are a real paradise! The only downside is that you will eventually have to leave. We felt extremely welcome by Jen, Peter and the staff. I have to say that my family and I haven’t been treated better at a resort or Airbnb. We were picked up at the airport with a van. The airport is 30 min away. Coron town is 30 min away as well. Jen will arrange for boat island hoping, diving, snorkeling, fishing or land adventures. Even if the villas are not in town you still have full access to all the tourist things you want to do if you choose to. When we arrived the first word that came to mind was “magical”! There is a restaurant and a bar between the two villas with menu you can order from. We wanted to try Phllippinian cuisine and asked them to just cook what is fresh on the market that day and to be part of the local food. Every day was different and delicious! We had lunch packed for our day and boat trips. Amazing

I loved how quiet it was on this island and how private it felt, even though there were other guests. This is what you pay for when you take the boat 40min to get there from Coron. We enjoyed our stay very much, slept great and did 1 island tour and some kajaking and diving. David and his quite extensive team were always available via Airbnb app if we needed anything like drinks, dinner, breakfast or an additional pot, can opener or aloe vera because we had sunburn. 😆 Everybody was super friendly. Note that the beach is not a really superfine sandy dream beach to bathe in. It's rather an entry to snorkel, dive or kayak. The activity prices are quite high, so all in all it was enjoyable but also a quite expensive stay for us.

Amazing Airbnb away from busy Coron crowds. Villa was clean, had everything you need! Highly recommend if visiting Coron. Great location with nice restaurants nearby. Day trips easily organised with host who was a great! Maridel was always looking to help and make our stay even better - Villa was quiet and super relaxing!

We came here for our honeymoon and some tranquility after the wedding craze and many hours of travel from London. The place was paradise with beautiful white sands and crystal clear sea, fresh coconut juice and yummy home cooked meals. We felt like we were staying with family as everyone was so welcoming and warm. It was always quiet and private. Watching the stars at night while going for a swim was a treat. Going on the kayak during sunset and watching the sun go down behind the coconut trees on the island was absolutely breathtaking. Island hopping tours and snorkelling was available once we felt more energised and they were phenomenal. We loved taking naps in the afternoon and waking up just to get back into the sea! We enjoyed being surrounded by the animals, the cheeky goats, the pigs (especially Bacon!! Haha he’s funny!) the dogs, all playing together. We were really sad to leave and will definitely be back when we can. Thank you again to Rochelle, Vanessa and everybody!

Glamping Tent: Unique Island Getaway

Unser Aufenthalt im Dryft war eine 10/10! Die Insel ist wunderschön und lädt zum entspannen ein - Türkises Wasser, weißer Strand & cooles Camp. Ich war so traurig, dass ich nicht mind. 2 Nächte gebucht hatte. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr gut für hiesige Verhältnisse und der Service und das Personal sehr freundlich! Geschlafen haben wir im Zelt bei der Wärme und dem lauten Ventilator leider nicht so gut aber da der Ort so unglaublich schön ist, kann man da getrost drüber hinweg sehen. Die Anreise von El Nido war easy. Wir haben uns in El Nido einen Roller gemietet (500 pesos pro Tag) und sind zum Pier gefahren ( Dauer ca. 1h). Von dort aus hat die Unterkunft uns mit dem Boot abgeholt ( 15 Minuten Fahrt für 350 pesos pp). Alternativ gibt es auch die Option sich in El Nido mit einem Shuttle abholen zu lassen, welchen die Unterkunft organisiert. Da wir aber noch die Insel erkunden wollten, haben wir einen Roller genommen. Unsere Zeit im Dryft war das Highlight unserer Reise! 🥰

Pobyt na wyspie był najlepszym wydarzeniem całej wycieczki na Filipiny. Przepiękna wyspa, cudowne plaże, sam pokój z cudownym widokiem. Jedzenie najlepsze, jakie zjedlismy na Filipinach, w końcu była okazja, żeby spróbować filipińskich potraw tak, jak trzeba. Załoga była wspaniała, czuliśmy się zaopiekowani w każdym momencie pobytu. Dodatkowym plusem były oczywiście super pieski Charlie i Lilly z ich szczeniakami :) Jedyne o czym należy pamiętać rezerwując nocleg na Brother Island to to, żeby dobrze zaplanować wycieczkę. Dojazd nie jest najłatwiejszy, zawsze można zamówić dojazd, ale jeżeli nie jest zawarty w pakiecie, to koszt dojazdu samochodem w jedną stronę to 3500 php plus 1500 php za transfer łodzią na wyspę. Polecam każdemu, kto tylko może, pobyt na Brother Island :)

The villa itself is absolutely breathtaking, but what truly elevated our stay was the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond in every way, particularly when they arranged a surprise birthday celebration for my wife. They decorated a table with beautiful lights, prepared a special cake, and even sang happy birthday to her - creating a memory we'll cherish forever. The culinary experience was outstanding, with excellent food served throughout our entire stay. Every meal was prepared with care and showcased incredible flavors. We stayed four days with a group of friends and family and enjoyed Peter‘s Villa - a perfect set up for discovering the beauties of Busuanga island and do island hopping. Not only did Peter engage very professionally, proactively and cordially and was a super host, he also has a team of dedicated locals supporting him. The private tours we booked through Peter were all outstanding. The set up of the peninsula with Villas, Bungalows, Pool area and the newly opened restaurant is all very thought trough and practical and made our stay perfect. We enjoyed all breakfasts and dinners (and drinks and packe lunches for our tours) from the restaurant and were impressed by Chef Mike‘s creations - with seafood delivered by local fishermen the same day. While the resort is already fully functional, it is also fascinating to hear from Peter that there are plans to even enhance the infrastructure, with a private beach and possibly other amenities in planning.

We also had the luxury of home service massages, which were a great way to unwind after a day of adventure. We loved every moment of our stay at The Beach House! The location is very private and peaceful at the end of a beautiful long beach in a calm bay. The staff was very kind and attentive to our every need and the host was very responsive before and during our stay. We had the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. I highly recommend the boat tour to Dibotunay and Black Island. We were the only boat on the pristine white sand beach of Dibotunay and the tour crew made and amazing grilled lunch at Black Island. Snorkeling was great at both locations. We got the traditional hilot massages and really enjoyed them! It was really nice to have the restaurant at the hotel because there aren’t many other restaurants in the area. The food and drinks served were truly delicious, we loved everything we ate. The bed was comfortable and the room was decorated very nice. You can tell the host cares about good service and puts a lot of care into the details. We cannot recommend the Beach House more!

Rachelle's place was amazing!! We were upgraded to the guest house so this review is for the guesthouse, right on the water. The cabana was fabulous and there are free kayaks to use. It is 2 bedroom, 1 bath, very spacious and fully equipped kitchen to cook meals. The island is small, only had three restaurants, 2 closed around 7, one opened at 4 closing late night. Edlyn met us at the pier, took us to the Culion Museum (must go), and to the steps for Aguila Viewpoint. She helped us buy fruit and told us were the local market was for fresh veggies. She checked on us every morning to see if we needed anything! We scheduled an island hopping tour with Pastor Hermie and the day before he took us on a walking tour and told us the history of the island incredible! (Please note that the ferry did not run on Sunday (we left Tuesday and Coron posters say it runs everyday) and there is no ATM on the island for international bank cards so bring enough cash with you.)

Beauty and isolation. I wanted to escape with an element of remoteness, to spend days swimming and relaxing in nature. This surpassed my predictions. Catered breakfast at sunrise and sunset. Days spent exploring the reef, snorkelling and skin diving, or kayaking around the nearby islands. There are fins and snorkels to borrow, if needed, and rechargeable lights for night snorkelling. Napping and reading, followed by more snorkelling. The rustic cabin was not lacking. The fans kept me cool. My cabin was on the hill in the trees, cooler than the lower ones. The internet connection was fast and reliable, though I wasn't making any video calls. Had a day trip to Black Island, David's favourite, and can't recommend enough. I swam with thousands of fish. I went snorkelling and diving with David at night, seeing multiple seahorses. David shared favourite spots to explore and, with Genny, helped planning my stay. Gennya was a ray of sunshine, ensuring that everything was exceeding expectation

Séjour exceptionnel à l'écolodge de Sand Island ! David et Genny sont des hôtes formidables, très réactifs et attentionnés. Le lieu est hors du temps, sur une île isolée au coeur des magnifiques paysages de Coron. Nous avons fait tous les tours proposés en bateau et avons été émerveillés. La nourriture proposées sur place et de très bonne qualité nous nous sommes régalés. Possibilité d'utiliser gratuitement le matériel de snorkeling, les kayak etc. Le logement est basique mais avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un très bon séjour (connexion internet, netflix, etc.). Je recommande vraiment le logement de David, c'était le meilleur moment de notre voyage aux Philippines. Merci encore !

If you prefer to be more on a quite place instead of Coron Proper Town - you are right here! Mary Ann is one of the friendliest and most helpful Airbnb hosts which we met. The food in the own restaurant (breakfast, lunch or dinner until 7pm) is very delicious! Renting a scooter from her sister was quickly organized on the day we wanted it. As well we done a spontaneous boat trip with her brother and it was very well organized on our needs (best boat trip day which we had during our stay in the Philippines). Furthermore, the prices by Ann are really fair and not just to get more money from tourists. Additionally, Ann organized for us also the van to the airport for 600 pesos per person. We wish for Ann and her family all the best for their business. And we hope with our review here she will get more Airbnb guests! It is worth to visit.

David’s place was amazing! They were extremely accommodating and helpful during our stay. They have so many awesome activities and were very flexible with our schedule. I would highly recommend going to the Culion museum and learning about the local history! It was an amazing trip and David and his team made it really awesome!

We had an amazing stay at Sand Island Ecolodge. David and his staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly or accommodating. They repeatedly went above and beyond: helping us out when we needed to reschedule a flight; dropping us off at the mainland at the crack of dawn; taking us out night snorkelling so that my daughter fulfilled her ambition to see a wild seahorse; picking up groceries for us from the mainland... The day trips by speedboat were an absolute luxury. It was great to be able to set our own schedule rather than being herded off a lovely island by a busy tour boat before we were ready to leave. Our captains were great at showing us where to find caves and the best fish, corals, etc. Visiting Black Island was the best day of our entire stay in the Philippines and we also loved Pass Island. The food that Genny and her staff provided at the lodge was delicious and great value. We especially loved the breakfasts and the wonderful packed lunches. We'd love to visit again!

David’s place è il posto perfetto per riconciliarsi con la natura. È isolato, immerso nel verde e si affaccia direttamente su una spiaggetta. Fondamentali per i tour della zona sono le barche super veloci che ti consentono di arrivare nelle varie isole prima di tutti e ripartire quando gli altri se ne sono già andati permettendoti di avere la spiaggia tutta per te! David è molto amichevole e un ottimo dive master per le immersioni. Cliff e tutto lo staff sono stati bravissimi, molto attenti e puntuali (non così scontato nelle Filippine..), servendo direttamente in camera i pasti molto gustosi.

I had such a great stay at Thomas’s place! The photos really don’t do it justice it looks so much better in real life. The space is beautifully put together, super clean, and has a really good energy. You can tell Thomas puts care into every detail. Communication was smooth, check-in was easy, and I felt right at home. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a spot that exceeds expectations!
