Cosy studio annex

A completely self-contained annex-come-studio in our garden with access from the rear. It has everything you need for a short stay in Cardiff and is very close to lovely parks, cafes, restaurants and shops and is 25 mins walk or ten mins bus ride to town - the bus stop is right behind the annex. It is suitable for a couple, two friends (there's a pull-out single bed in the living area) or a couple with a child. We converted our garage during lockdown and created this unique and cosy space.

Our accommodation is completely self contained with its own private entrance. Situated in a busy suburb of North Cardiff and within 5 minutes easy walking distance of shops/coffee bars/restaurants and great links into the City Centre and events.

You will have the whole house to yourself. The bedroom has a king size bed with mini fridge and kettle. There's a kitchen/diner, living room, bathroom and garden and another downstairs toilet. There's also a free allocated parking space. Update April 2024: Doris, the house rabbit (mentioned in the guest reviews) passed away in February, so it's it now a pet free house. The property is only 35 mins walk to the centre of the city centre and the millennium stadium.

Anyone lucky enough to stay here is in for a treat. The neighbourhood is in one of Cardiff’s finest areas. Cafes and parks are easily walkable. Then the house is lovely. It looks exactly like the photos, and is spotlessly clean. And finally, Ian is a fabulous host: informative, responsive and kind. One of the best AirBnB experiences I’ve ever had.

Brian was very friendly but highly professional in his manner. The accommodation was private but Brian was very quick to respond when I had questions to ask. I had a very good stay and will definitely use the accommodation again. I recommend them without reservation, staying as a single female I felt very comfortable and safe. Thank you for sharing your lovely Beach Hut I loved the environment (very clever) and the decor was perfect. Very thoughtfully presented.

He was very responsive and gave me as much knowledge as he could when I inquired about things to do around the area and or questions about the house. Excellent value for money and easily walkable to the city centre through the lovely Sophia Gardens / Bute Park. The park ends at the Castle. Easy to find the property and getting in was no problem with the key safe box. Room was next to the kitchen in the ground floor which had a patio window and it was nice to open this out to the lovely garden with its beautiful flowers. Upstairs to the loo / bathroom so the property had everything I needed for my short stay . Caroline the host was very friendly and welcoming as was Ziggy the cat.
