A tasting in the chocolate studio below is a must, after which stroll to some of Ghent's many boutiques, and perhaps the weekend antiques market in nearby St Jacob's Square. The Tower is situated in the historic centre of Bruges, in a quiet neighbourhood at some eight minutes’ walk from the ‘Markt’. In the 18th century the tower was reconstructed as a ‘folly’, characteristic of the period. We are proud to say that our family has supported this heritage for more than 215 years. Groede is a beautiful picturesque and cultural village in Zeelandic Flanders, just a stone's throw away from the beach and Waterdunen, a special nature reserve on the border of land and sea. Groede has cozy terraces, beautiful historic streets and is an oasis of peace on the Zeeland-Flemish coast.

B&B De ouwe meule - de molen

"The old meule" was built in 1877, which we turned into a cozy bed and breakfast. Completely in style, equipped with kitchen incl. oven, induction cooking plate, fridge and dishwasher, 3 bedrooms ( 1 equipped with sink and circulation of the mill), shower incl. rain shower, separate toilet, smart TV and WiFi available. At the back space to sit and barbecue. Also there is a private free parking space. A delicious full breakfast is included.

Wake up with a pristine wide view of the drowned meadows (Meersen) and fields; changing to the rhythm of the seasons. Enjoy the spectacle of the fluttering singing skylark, the happy chirping of swallows as night falls. Lie down on the jetty, get into the boat to just float on the natural pond. Walk, bike, swim or just do nothing.

This cottage is surrounded by woods. It's the ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature. It's fully equipped with every luxury, and you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea outside on the beautiful terrace with a hot tub. In the bathroom, you'll find a wonderful bath to unwind. The cottage is nestled in a wooded area, and we have similar properties adjacent to it, but each has its own private woodland. The minimum age for our guests is 25.
