Surrounded by mountains, there is an abundance of wildlife on the property, as well as a mile of river front to fish. The large bunkhouse can accomodate families or groups of fishermen, hunters, ATV riders, golf or snowmobile in the winter months. The Big Lost river offers some of the best trout fishing in Idaho with the Mackay reservoir right up the road for those who like to fish from boats or from the bank. We are located right on the edge of Mackay so it is a short walk or drive to town.

High Valley Cottage

Majestic mountain views on every side at this quiet cottage. Drive down a long winding lane, to arrive at this peaceful setting in Lost River Valley, home to Idaho’s tallest peaks. It is situated close to Mackay, (approximately 6 miles) and hosts many ATV and hiking trails. Mt Borah trailhead, Idaho’s tallest mountain, is 20 miles up the valley. The reservoir, and rivers are ideal fishing spots. We now have high speed Internet, so this is an excellent place to work remotely.

This home is set up with dogs, kids, babies, and humans of all ages in mind. There's a dedicated kids’ room with a pull-out couch (sleeps two) and a crib. I can also provide an additional pack-and-play on request. In the back, I have a fully-fenced backyard. You'll have access to a full kitchen set up and a washer/dryer.
