Cozy 2-bedroom family-friendly house w/ A/C & WiFi

Two fully furnished & airconditioned bedrooms with a common walk-in closet. Most of the furnitures are made from narra and kamagong wood. Located 15 minutes away from Sorsogon's best destinations such as Surf Camp, Bulusan Lake, Balay Buhay sa Uma, Barcelona Ruins etc... My place is great for families, big groups, and people looking for a WFH getaway. The people around the area are very hospitable and will make you feel like you are a part of the community. *Guests must be fully vaccinated.

Dagos tabi kamo sa Tata Rock 4710! An enclave beside the Lola Sayong compound, the overall design of the house is inspired by Brutalism owing to the greyish-white sands of the coastline of Buenavista beach. Many of the items in this space were repurposed and reused from our grandparents' ancestral houses and our family home in Pinontingan. We also want to live sustainably so most furnishings were sourced from local artisans, secondhand marketplaces, surplus stores, and even junk shops.

Very spacious unit with allocated parking space. It is within a subdivision that’s why the area is very peaceful and also easy access to the main highway going to different restaurants and tourist attractions.

Thank you so much, Ma'am Yvonne! The host was extremely kind and hospitable. She answered all of my queries since it was our first time in the area. The home is right next to the highway and easy to find. There are a lot of accessible areas via car and tricycle from their place. The host and her family made us feel at home and safe in the area. I will surely book this place again when I go to Matnog, Sorsogon. Thank you for everything!

Feels like a home that we can stay in for a long time (we stayed for 5 days). The balcony is so nice. Host communicates well and answers our questions fast.

GABZ’K Hotel & Resort (Deluxe Double Room)

GABZ K was pretty nice. They allowed us to check in early which we really appreciated after arriving earlier than expected. The room was clean and actually a bit larger than we expected. The smart TV with Netflix included was a plus, and the A/C was cold and plenty strong for the room size. There is also a generator, so this place is great if there is a brown-out during your stay here. Overall we were happy GABZK We only stayed for 3 days, but it would be nice if housekeeping could tidy up each day and maybe sweep the floor to help maintain the room a bit. Also felt like it was a bit pricey to stay here compared to other areas in the Philippines and considering the amenities provided.

The bathroom features a compact layout with a wall-mounted sink and a modern toilet. A small wastebasket is placed nearby, complemented by a roll of toilet paper. The area is finished with light-coloured tiles and includes a soap dispenser on the sink.

We had an amazing time during our summer vacation at Kristine’s place! It was perfect for families or even a group of friends. Plus, it’s just a 5-minute walk to the beach and surf spots. We loved waking up to the beautiful rice fields and mountain views at sunrise and enjoying them again at sunset. Our fur babies also had a great time playing on the terrace and in the grassy front yard. Kristine and Ate Rina (the caretaker) were very accommodating and responsive to all our requests. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Sunset Beach House - Double Room (A/C)

Mike & Yollie were amazing hosts! I had to get in touch with them through mobile though but they were very responsive then. We picked the place bc it was private, away from the crowded resorts. Note though that you will get charged extra boat fare bc this is not the usual route for boats. I highly suggest getting Yollie’s paluto service! Ask her the rate - you of course pay for the service and the ingredients. It is so worth it! (Ask for her sweet and sour fish - the recipe is a secret) I had a feast for my birthday with our boatmen - Noning, Joel, and James (they’re also the best!!!) ask for them ahead of time if you can! They took me to a private spot to snorkel my hearts content. If the weather is good, do opt to eat outside with the sunset view. I would definitely recommend Sunset for those like me looking for quiet respite. 🥰 Hope to be back again!!
