*PURE NATURE* Forest cottage at the farmhouse in the countryside

We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Grandma Erna's house on the Moselle

Relax in your little retreat on the Mosel. From this wonderful place in a quiet side street of the mountain village Starkenburg you can start hiking, go wine tasting, simply relax or work remotely. Let the distant view and nature inspire you. The old half-timbered house has been completely ecologically renovated and is simply cosy including a wood stove. Vacation home "Zum Bacchus"

Take a vacation in a late Gothic half-timbered house built in 1467. Feel the atmosphere of crooked walls and a floor that reflects the history of the house and its inhabitants. Also enjoy the hospitality of the wine god Bacchus of Bruttig-Fankel. Capacity for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. A 4th adult can sleep in a separate room with access via the terrace (pictures will follow). Looking forward to seeing you soon!
