Family-friendly vacation rentals in Buhl-Lorraine

This was probably one of our best stays in our travels. Like others have said, you feel at home straight away, not only because the charm of the place, but perhaps more importantly - how Anita makes you feel like a welcomed friend. Her recommendations for where to go were spot on: we enjoyed the restaurants, towns, shops, and pubs. Of course, we enjoyed the sauna and the tub. The kitchen amenities were fantastic. The beds were so cozy. The WiFi was fast (two of us working remotely without issue on video calls) and there was enough space without us worrying about hearing each other. Parking spot right out front. Washer/Dryer worked great. The location is in a quaint, walkable town. It's quiet. You can see the stars at night, hear the birds, and just take a breath to enjoy it all. This is one special place. We're already planning our return trip back. :)

We felt extremely comfortable. The house has charm and is in the middle of nature. Just right for a few relaxing days. We will be happy to come back!

We spent 4 days with friends in Saverne in Didier's rental. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen well-equipped, the terrace very nice and the pool and hot tub are a real plus👍. The rental has a lot of charm, well located to enjoy the center of Saverne, the port, the castles and very good restaurants. Didier is a very welcoming host, available while being discreet. We really enjoyed our professionalism. We would recommend it without hesitation

We had some wonderful serene and sunny days in Pierre and Katia's mountain cabin. Incredible flexible and friendly hosts and we felt right at home from the first second. Beautiful location and spacious cabin. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trail, the outdoor bath and daily cuddles with Snow (the dog) whom our own dog also found a friend in. Al fresco dining everyday. We had daily excursions to nearby Alsace attractions with advice from Pierre and the children are still talking about the welcome bowl with candy (and Snow of course! ;) Cabin is warmly recommended

We traveled as part of a stay at Europa Park (30 min drive). Top outdoor amenities (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, petanque court, etc.) Lodging well-equipped and functional. Thanks!

Pleasant accommodation, in all respects in accordance with the photos available. The neighborhood is residential, very quiet, but more lively neighborhoods are easily accessible within a 15-minute walk or by tram.

Very nice cottage nestled on the side of the mountain, with a beautiful view and a peaceful environment. The cottage is very well-equipped and very well-decorated, cocooning atmosphere. You have to come by car to enjoy the surroundings, shops only a few kilometers away, good restaurants. Ski resorts 25/40 minutes away according to your wishes, but also confectionery of the Vosges, Christmas markets and the large city of Saint Dié des Vosges nearby. Beautiful walks possible. We were lucky to have snow throughout our stay, so a nice wonder to go from 2024 to 2025. And a big thank you to Odile and Claude for their warm hosting, availability and kindness. We can only recommend.

Céline’s apartment is the perfect place to stay in Strasbourg. It is incredibly centrally located, yet is amazingly quiet due to its location off an inner courtyard. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. I have not one single negative thing to say about it. It really is one of the absolute best Airbnb apartments we have stayed in. Highly recommended!

I spent a few very nice, relaxed, quiet days with my dog in the beautiful apartment. Everything is as described and you can quickly feel at home. Unfortunately, the weather was not so nice and I could only use the roof terrace one evening. The location is also great for excursions in the area. I'll be more than happy to come back! ☺️

Wonderful vacation home. Lots to do in the area, village itself is very quiet. Fully furnished house. Some beds are quite hard but you can get extra bedding. We had 15 wonderful days!

We stayed 3 nights in Chantal's wonderful accommodation. The house is very spacious and offers everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped and there are a few nice touches. The bedrooms are comfortable and each have an en-suite bathroom. There was only a lack of small things (shampoo/shower gel, oil in the kitchen, only one hair dryer for 3 bathrooms). Worth mentioning are the nearby church and a large grandfather clock with a quarter-hour melody - this takes some getting used to. The positive highlight is the park-like garden with many seating and lounging options, which could also be used well on the (very) hot days. Thanks for a great stay!

The stay at Thierry's was short but nice:) The truly fully equipped kitchen should be emphasized. There was everything you needed for cooking. Everything was tidy and well stowed but still easy to find. The check-in instructions and house rules were also clear and easy to find. The surroundings are very quiet and you can directly access beautiful hiking trails. The stream behind the house offers a beautiful sound backdrop and you can always see the countryside from the windows. We were confused upon arrival that the accommodation is an extension to another building and not a stand-alone cottage as we expected. We didn't read that from the description before. We would also have liked individual duvets with covers. However, the pillows were very comfortable and we slept well overall. The communication with Thierry was very friendly, fast and reliable:) a dear host who is always there! Thank you!

The apartment is quiet and equipped, the terrace is nice. The hosts are very friendly and caring (thank you for the brioche). Great stay, would recommend.

Unfortunately, the weather was only good on the last day. The swimming pool was fine. The house is divided into two parts, one of which is occupied by the hostess. However, only we were allowed to use the bathroom. The location is rather rural (in a village), and there are few leisure opportunities nearby.

We had a great stay. Being a group of 4 adults & 4 children, the apartment is very comfortable and functional. It is modern, clean and very well-equipped (including exotic spices & sauces :)). Hosts are very responsive, available and flexible. Perhaps the only small downside is the wifi coverage (a little difficult to pick up from the downstairs bedroom and kitchen)

Isabelle welcomed us very warmly and sent us plenty of tips before we arrived. We'll be happy to go back

An apartment like a house with a very nice garden/terrace and heated pool. Delicate touches of drinks in the fridge, beautiful night spaces, everything you need in the kitchen and everything very clean. A very pleasant stay where we will definitely be back, thank you Valerie

We were warmly welcomed by Angele and Antoine who gave us good clear instructions on how to use all the facilities ensuring that if we had any questions or problems she was always available to us. The garden is beautiful and well kept with fruit and nut trees adding to the charm. It is very quiet, peaceful and the pool looked extremely inviting but just not warm enough for us yet. Easy access to the Alsace wine route and the villages on the route were very quant and interesting. This is a must do on any visit to the area. An extremely easy check in/out and would recommend this property to all.

We enjoyed very much. The host was very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy apartment in which many old elements have been used. The garden was also very beautiful and equipped with a hammock, barbecue, deck chairs and swings. We didn't lack anything. Everything we needed was present or was taken care of. We have had a wonderful time.

Florent and Geneviève are exceptional hosts, in addition to being welcoming and warm they were very responsive and attentive, we loved talking with them 🥰 The house is even more beautiful than the photos The place was magical in the middle of nature, a breathtaking view (you can admire the deer in the morning😍) Europa Park and Rulantica are a 50-minute drive away It's so relaxing to find this peaceful haven after a busy day at Europa Park. In short, it was a great stay ❤️
