Crane season hot spot! The apartment is located inside a newly constructed shed. It has one bedroom, one bath (shower only, no tub), and a large living room and kitchen with all appliances (no dishwasher). A private pond is located in the pasture outside of the shed for quiet nights relaxing and fishing. It is the perfect setting for nature and bird watching! We do allow pets for a $25 fee. There is a very friendly farm dog on the property, so take note if this will be an issue for you.

One of a kind "beach vacation" in central Nebraska! A Caribbean ambience has been quasi recreated in this 1,600 sq. foot space NW of Kearney. The property sits amidst the Nebraska prairie with incredible views of the sunrise, sunset, and moonrise. It's only 10 minutes and all paved roads to Kearney's north shopping district, to the University, and both hospitals. Guests rave about the view, amenities, and peacefulness while being so close to town. Many return and book directly.

Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a TV (no TV service) that can be used for DVD's. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!! TV in the cabin is for DVD's only.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. 2 blocks from Good Samaritan Hospital and 1 block from Dryden Park. House includes detached 2 car garage and fenced backyard. Washer and dryer located in basement along with another living space. House includes 3 full sized beds and 2 queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. We allow dogs with a 25 dollar fee for the first pet and a 25 dollar fee for each additional pet.

We are just 20 minutes from Kearney, located one mile east of the Audubon Rowe Crane Sanctuary where the Sandhill Cranes stay during their annual Spring migration. The yurt sits directly under the flyway where the cranes return to the river every night and is the only accommodation in Nebraska where you can roll out of bed and witness the cranes fly over from your own private deck. My friends and I went to Kearney to spend the day and stayed at Catrina's pplace. We had the best time, Catrina is a very responsive host. we had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. My friends got up early and walked to the park and said it was very beautiful and peaceful.

A modern kitchen area features a large white island with four white bar stools arranged neatly. Custom wood shelves hold various kitchen items above a dark cabinetry, while bright pendant lights illuminate the space. A window allows natural light to enhance the atmosphere.

The house is very comfortable, clean(smells fantastic), and has everything you may need. It was perfect for our 8 guests. The beds were incredibly comfortable as well. Thank you for opening your house to us!
