House vacation rentals in Buckland

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. This was my second time staying at Vicki's place i love the peaceful surroundings the house is great with everything you need my only downside is the rooster that crows very early haha Thank you again Vicki for a lovely weekend .

Ross is the most beautiful village to unwind. Great cafe. The house was lovely & warm. Great space in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend.

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Beautiful place! 10 members in 2 families stayed for 4 nights while driving around Tasmania. We cooked most meals in and enjoyed the space for our Canadian/Australian family connection. There was a lot of space to be alone or together. We even did yoga on the top floor that was fully equipped. There are beautiful surroundings near the sea and we were grateful to have the pool available so close to winter. The total experience made a great memory for our families.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Braithwaite! We travelled down to Hobart, for Dark Mofo, and the house was the perfect home base to unwind and refresh after day/night trips. The place was spotless and each space was prepared with care, to ensure we had everything we needed. We made great use of the outdoor bath, which was appreciated after a day on foot.

Beautiful home , amazing view, close to local shop and beach. Would love to stay there again.

We loved our stay at Peter’s place. Great water views and central to all the walking we wanted to do. Clean and comfortable with good heating. Hope to return one day.

It was the first time in Tasmania for our family, and Robyn's mansion is definitely one of the best part of our trip. the mansion itself is located in a very peaceful area which is not very faraway from Hobart city, with an impressive scenic lakeview around the house. Robyn made sure every instructions are well-prepared for us therefore we had no problem checking-in, and she is very responsive when we needed help. In the morning after we arrived, we had a problem with the coffee machine and we reached out for help which Robyn replied and get the problem solved right away. after we went back from the town in the evening we found a new set of coffee machine and capsules for us, we were very impressive on how helpful and responsive she is toward us. to conclude our review, I would totally recommend this well-deserved home for vacation. The host is very friendly and helpful. We had a very good time here, truly a sanctuary and this place made us fall in love with Tasmania. Thank you!

Lynne's place is more than I could have ever expected. It took me hrs of walking around just to see her beautiful Bali paradise and at the end of the trip I still felt like I was seeing something new. It's a wonderland for kids and my very active son didn't want to leave because of all the games and toys available. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and had everything we needed. You have sea views and the beach on your doorstep. Dodges itself was lovely to explore, the community garden was something truely special. You won't regret one but staying here and will feel rested at the end.

We had a great time at Peter’s place at Sandy Bay. The views were amazing and it was very comfortable. The pool table was a big hit with our teenagers. Thank you for having us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emily and Brendan’s place. It was comfortable and cosy and decorated in a really appealing way. It really had everything you could want , we have no complaints and would definitely return.

What a beautiful place to stay. Close to Tribunna for our tour. Had everything we needed. A beautiful entertaining area with fire pit. Lovely gardens.

We had a great stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The host was really responsive and helpful. We loved playing tennis in the evenings and watching the sunset — such a nice touch. Would definitely come back! Thanks Emma and Sam :)

Beautiful place and area! We had an amazing stay. Sarah-Jane was extremely generous and accommodating with an early check in. The place had everything that we needed and we loved our stay.

Provider House was the perfect place to get away from the big city and unwind. The location was private but, yet close enough to all of the hot spots Hobart has to offer. The added luxuries of, luxurious robes, towels and products helped achieve the instant clam you get to enjoy at Provider House.

Joel’s place was exactly what we were after for our getaway , a warm and cosy abode nestled in the bush. We enjoyed the fire a lot, location was perfect to explore the East Coast gems Thank you

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Bon Marché. It is a spacious and beautiful home with lovely gardens and great amenities for kids as well, including a cubby house and trampoline. We were travelling with a 5 year old and 8 week old and found the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was impeccably clean and even smelled amazing. It has top end appliances and lovely bath products. The location is great, within walking distance of Burton’s reserve and the Cygnet town centre. David is a perfect host providing detailed and clear instructions. He’s friendly and responsive. Overall this was a perfect Airbnb experience and we would recommend Bon Marché for anyone looking for a luxurious and family friendly stay in the Huon. We’d love to come back sometime for a longer visit.

We had a fantastic stay at Kylie’s place. It was perfectly located to visit Maria Island and we really appreciated all the thoughtful extra touches. The bath was huge, the house spotless, and the kids loved the cubby house and all the toys. This was one of our best Airbnb stays so far.
