Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. Tawny - A little luxury by the bay.

Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. With luxury bedding and facilities, an outdoor bath and stunning location overlooking Spring Bay, Tawny offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind from the everyday. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. You can relax in the boat shed by day and in the evening, gaze at the stars by the warmth of the fire pit.

Situated on the edge of Calverts lagoon nature reserve we welcome you to our little piece of paradise. With walking trails from your front door you will find yourself exploring the quiet lagoon, reserve and surf beach within walking distance. The ideal location for Aurora chasing. Located only a five minute drive from the center of South Arm and 30 minutes from Hobart. This space is perfect for a little get away to relax and enjoy or as a base to explore Southern Tasmania.

Beachfront Studio on Great Oyster Bay

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

‘The Lady’ Primrose Sands

The Lady is a colourful waterside haven inspired by the cosy hotels of the British seaside. Sink into the velvet antique sofa and let the view carry you away. The cedar tub is hot and ready for your arrival, with the Tasman Peninsula in the distance. Once a rustic fishing shack, The Lady has been reborn with comfort and character as the guiding ideals. Formally known as Millingtons House, Sunways is a stone’s throw from the riverside and five minutes from the ocean. The house captures daylight from every compass point in spacious rooms that still have a lot of their original features. Sunways can host 4 guests across two spacious queen bedrooms and one shared bathroom. We welcome pets but request they must strictly remain off all furniture.
