We are a VERY scenic 35 minutes to Wintergreen, all the wineries, breweries, distilleries and orchards in the region and great hiking trails! We are far enough outside of the cities of Charlottesville and Scottsville to provide peace and quiet, but just a scenic 20 minute drive to Scottsville and 40 minutes to Charlottesville.

What a fantastic place to escape the hustle and bustle. Very relaxing. Beautiful view. I would highly recommend bringing food to eat on the patio so you can enjoy the view as much as possible. Hosts were very responsive . Just sit back and relax. We had 4 adult couples and had plenty of room. Very spacious. We will be back.

I can’t possibly recommend staying at the cottage enough! The hosts were incredible, welcoming, and so wonderful to talk to. The cottage and property were absolutely stunning. We have two kids and they absolutely loved it as well. We felt super at home and we will definitely be returning!

Very hospitable host. Lovely home in a beautiful setting. Janet is very thoughtful and had fresh flowers and baked cookies to greet USA. Even left a card for my son who was graduating college. Overall, a great stay.

This cabin has stood for many years and shows the care given by the current owners. Thoughtfully furnished and well appointed. A number of "country period pieces" are a nice touch. The beds were comfortable. It is one of the few properties immediately adjacent to the SSPX Seminary where we attended High Mass on Sunday morning. The convenience made this location a great choice.
