This was the ideal place for privacy and peace in an area where there's a lot to do. We were 15-20min from a lot of shopping, restaurants, breweries/wineries, and other activities. It was easy to drive to other towns outside of Dripping Springs. The room was exactly what it was supposed to be. Loved the large tub. It is in the country so the shower took some figuring out but was then perfect. The TV is older but we were able to hook up a fire stick and had no wifi issues. The property manager was quick to respond and even allowed for a late check out due to some snowy weather.

Amazing. Mark is the best host we have ever experienced! When there was an issue, he came and helped out immediately. The place was perfect and such a vibe!!! The hot tub and the swing were just perfect. Couldn’t beat it! Best part was the bed, the best sleep in months! Thank you so much for an amazing stay

John's unit, located within Barton Creek Lakeside, is just great. Well furnished with everything one might need and actually is even more lovely than the pictures present. Very comfortable in all ways. We rented both sides to this duplex for a family gathering and it could not have worked out more perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Really nice.

This was one of the best Airbnb, I haven't been to Austin before wasn't too sure where too stay!! it had good reviews and was in a great location so we decided to stay at Alexander's place, It's was right on congress ave walkable to restaurants, shops and more!! Everybody is super friendly in the area!! When we got in, the neighbor was having a concert for his employees finding out the owner of Roku owns a few properties across the street, we got to meet the cool neighbors across the street they invited us over to watch, got to see Lainey Wilson perform!! Super safe area. I would recommend staying here!! The home is super cozy and had everything we needed. I will definitely be back!!

We were very comfortable in April’s house. It has a nice clean, open, airy feeling. Nicely decorated and the deck looks out to the water in Murphy Park, a nice place to take a walk. I loved taking care of her three chickens too!

We had the absolute BEST experience staying at this perfect little cottage near Dripping Springs! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The home is small, but every inch of it is so thoughtfully designed and impeccably decorated — cozy, charming, and truly picture-perfect. It felt like stepping into a dream. The outdoor space was just as incredible — inviting, peaceful, and so comfortable that we honestly didn’t want to leave. We were supposed to be attending a retreat nearby, but we found ourselves wishing we could just stay at the cottage instead! The home was spotless, stocked with everything we needed, and the owner communicated flawlessly, making the whole process easy and welcoming. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already dreaming about coming back. It’s truly a hidden gem!

Honestly I would love to gatekeep this property so I can have it more available when I visit Austin lol! But Luc is so wonderfully helpful + kind you can’t help to give 5 stars and make sure everyone knows this property is a hidden gem! Now, it is off the beaten path and not where you want to be if you’re looking to be in the mix and directly walking distance to downtown/zilker/fedtivals/nightlife/“new austin” things— BUT if you’re looking for a tranquil escape to return to after being in Austin all day that’s 15-30 mins in traffic (depending on time of day bc austin traffic is INSANE rn), then this property hits all your needs and makes you feel like you’re off grid living AND ITS GLORIOUS. Chirping birds, deer + you can bring your doggos. If you’re looking for extreme luxury, there may be other spots to book. If you’re looking for peaceful nature to sleep amazingly well and wakeup without the sounds of the city, this is the place. Thanks Luc, looking forward to my next trip! :)

This was a really great place in a really great location. Perfect for a month retreat. Jessica was really communicative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Left many helpful things for us, such as cooking materials, bathroom (showering and hygiene). Made it feel like home with all the decorations. Left fun activities for us as well, such as a tv, board games, and a speaker. All in all it was a very clean and homelike experience that made it fun for all the guests and will definitely book again when in town again!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Both bedrooms were great and it's in a super cool area, very convenient to get anywhere. Enjoyed the architecture of the place as well as the rustic coolness of this historic neighborhood. I would absolutely stay again. Thanks so much.

Gisela’s home was perfect! It was SO clean and had absolutely everything we needed for our visit to Lake Travis. The view from the deck is amazing. The kitchen was large and stocked with everything I needed to cook. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the views from the bedroom windows as well. The deer were adorable in the mornings and it was so peaceful. I highly recommend staying here!! Thank you, Gisela!!

Scenic views on the drive . Home was located in a quiet and safe neighborhood in the hills .Bob Wentz park the Oasis , Pluckers , and a couple hikes were all only a 10-15 minute drive away . Overall was very happy with my stay . The place was clean and roomie enough for my family of six . Betty the host was very responsive and kind enough to give us a late check out . Definitely will be back in the summer.

this was the best airbnb i’ve ever stayed at! the river view is absolutely amazing, and so surprising in austin. it’s hard to find a spot that secluded but still close to everything. beautiful walk all the way down to the river. and the porch is incredible! we did yoga on the porch and bird watched. the kitchen and bathroom are so well stocked it was surprising! they have thought of everything — blenders, instant pot, etc. fully stocked kitchen and it came in super handy! the beds are comfy with lots of pillows and plenty blankets. the bathroom is super stocked and comfortable to use as a plus size person. the shower is very spacious and clean. i will mention that the place looks a little different than the photos but in a good way — there’s a tv on the console in the living room, better side tables and lamps by the bed now, and a nice beautiful bar with bar chairs in the kitchen instead of a little table. wonderful upgrades that were super appreciated! i’ll be back soon if i can!

This was our third time staying here, and once again, it was absolutely exceptional! Kim truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. We were greeted with a basket full of snacks that was such a thoughtful touch, and the breakfast casserole was delicious—a perfect way to start our mornings. One of our favorite parts of staying here is being able to walk this amazing property. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing escape, surrounded by stunning scenery. We also loved getting to visit the barn and spending time with their beautiful horses—it’s such a unique experience that makes this place truly special. We can’t wait to come back again. Quiet, private location. Love that we could take our dogs. Loved: spacious living areas, screened porch & deck (although we used it less than expected due to weather), bluebonnets. Beds comfortable, kitchen stocked. Bring bottled water. Loved seeing & feeding the deer every night & morning. We brought extra deer corn. Took our Roku for the TVs. We expected to have access to the washer/dryer which is in the listing. Wasn’t a deal killer, but we didn’t bring as many clothes because of that and weather got chilly. We knew the river might be low, but would have good to know in advance just how low it was as well as the difficulty getting down to the river. We had to cut our own path through the weeds. It’s a bit of a challenging hike. We were able to catch several large fish from the shore (bass & catfish). Can see lots of stars & sunsets. Overall, a very homey & comfortable place to stay.

What a delight it was to stay at Flamingo Cottage! Cozy and beautifully decorated with a county flair, it was the perfect accommodations for our daughter's wedding at Blissful Hill, a grand venue in itself with incredible service all around with the platinum package. We also rented the 13 bed, 8 bath Villa, across the driveway, for our large family, and it was the best accommodations ever! Kudos to Blissful Hill and all their lovely places to stay!
