Vacation rentals in Brotterode-Trusetal

We were lucky enough to spontaneously spend the Easter holidays in the beautiful chalet and had a great time with the family (8 adults, 1 toddler). The chalet is located in a very quiet area on the mountain and is great for a wellness or hiking holiday. The host Dirk was always very accommodating and eager and always communicated quickly. The chalet was very clean and with a lot of love for detail, we felt very comfortable. The highlight was of course sauna and hot tub - we will be happy to come back!

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

Olga & Viktor's place was indescribably beautiful. My girlfriends & I had super nice days, the sauna & hot tub were a special highlight. The terrace overlooks a large meadow, where we could occasionally even see deer. It is also only a short drive to Coburg. All in all, we immediately felt comfortable in the accommodation and were able to relax. We would love to come back! Thanks very much <3

Jonathan was a wonderful, courteous and interested host who was always eager to offer us a perfect stay, yet allowed us to enjoy our space and privacy. Since a vacation is financially difficult for us as students, we were very pleased when Jonathan accommodated us on request. We were welcomed with a blazing fire in the oven. The large, bright room with stunning forest views invites you to get together, enjoy peace and quiet and escape the ordinary. We were particularly impressed by the kitchen equipment, as it (unlike our previous Airbnb experiences) offers everything needed for cooking (sharp knives, high-quality pans/pots - even a Thermomix was available😂). Overall, the accommodation offers light, forest, space, and cozy beds for a relaxing time. The highlight for us was the barrel sauna, and also Uncle Sven, who sweetened our vacation. We will definitely be back!

We had a totally lovely time staying at Tim Hendrik's place! The stylishly furnished chalet invites you to relax. The associated sauna made the stay perfect. The surroundings offer pure nature.

We had a great stay at the apartment, which has a great historic old building flair. The place was very clean, the beds comfortable and check-in and check-out with the hostess was straightforward. For us, it was a good starting point to explore Hessian Switzerland by bike, and Kassel is not far either...

This place is really phenomenal: it is extremely lovingly and comfortably furnished, the kitchen is really equipped with everything it needs and the view from the terrace is just magnificent. I spent some wonderful days here and also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings while hiking. Big plus: you can also get there by public transport / bus.

Very modern and beautiful accommodation in a central location in Erfurt. We felt right at home. With the tram you are in no time at all in the center. The contact with the hosts was also very friendly and uncomplicated.

A very nice small apartment, with everything you need. Centrally located with parking in the yard. We enjoyed it.
