Vacation rentals with lake access in The Bronx

ho adorato il quartiere, le vie, e soprattutto il panorama dal NJ, ad ogni viaggio di andata e ritorno, i mezzi sono molto facili da prendere e il tragitto davvero piacevole per la vista ! l'alloggio molto pulito e silenzioso, in e out molto facili. Ci tornerei con piacere !

The accommodation looks just like the photos, and the host was very responsive to messages. There are plenty of buses to Manhattan ($4 one way), which makes getting around really convenient. The room was warm and cozy, with enough towels and clean bed linens. The internet and TV worked perfectly, and there was also a coffee machine with capsules in the room — a really nice touch.

When I say this was the absolute best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! The description on photos matched her place and upon arrival there was wine and heart shaped cups for our Valentine’s Day getaway. Yira was so helpful and very responsive, I mean anything I needed she responded within minutes. If I could move in I would! Lol Yira makes you feel right at home, I will definitely come back the next time I visit.

I stopped at Lily’s house for 3 nights as a female solo traveller. It was my first time visiting NYC and Lily was super helpful! On the first morning, she walked to the bus stop with me, and made sure I knew which bus to get to get to and from Manhattan. She was super hospitable, really made you feel at home. The room was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was always clean with fresh towels etc, and the home is beautiful! The area of Leonia is a lovely suberb, very peaceful and tranquil. Location wise - it takes around 35/40 minutes to reach Manhattan, and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk down the road. I would absolutely stay with Lily again if I came back to NYC. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Nergis is a great host and was very friendly with my dog. She offered me coffee and tea. The room is spacious, although the bed is small (only big enough for one person). I was glad to have a small desk. I was happy to meet a cute dog and a friendly cat who were staying there.

I've stayed in the surrounding area of Jersey City multiple times in the past and this was by far the best AirBnB location I've had. It's a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the Path station, making it easy to get to & from the EWR airport, as well as to & from NYC. The home is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and has everything I needed for my stay. The local restaurants, bars, convenience store, grocery store, etc. are nearby as well, less than 1-block away, making it easy to get all the essential items needed for a stay. Rick was super responsive and accommodating during my stay, even providing helpful recommendations for places to visit. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will look to stay at this AirBnB for my future trips.

Veronica and her son was definitely a great help and a save and grace for my last minute booking, they had a excellent space close to the train station to take to the main city and all around, a very clean house and space was all organized, a excellent person to talk with and gather advice about NY, definitely a great place for solo or duos traveling. Thank you again Veronica and to your son for everything I can’t wait to come back someday and see you guys again. Definitely check them out! 💚🙏🏼

Whole apartment was pleasant and clean, but the assigned room and bathroom were spotless. There is a bus stop around the corner and the location is close enough to downtown that time in transit is perfectly reasonable. Great value for Manhattan!

Very good place for solo travellers and the location is close to the subway station so it has easy access to midtown. The host is very kind and caring during the stay! Highly recommended!

The place is a great spot to stay, nice and secluded with a pretty drive to get there. Def have a snow capable vehicle if driving in snow conditions. Lots of hills to get there and def a little treacherous. The home is a nice small cottage really only enough for 3 people tops, anymore and it’d feel cramped. Owner and team were quick to respond to questions or problems that arose. Just to note if weather conditions are not great there are possibilities of power cutting out. It happened constantly during my stay. Not the fault of the host just things to be cognizant of. This is definitely more of a summer place to stay, but otherwise we had a great trip and would absolutely come back to stay again! Lots of local places to eat, and a romantic little get away

Tony's Place was wonderful to go and unwind. The area is beautiful, had plenty of hiking trails nearby, and afterwards a great winery and cidery. Directly from our deck of the house we also got to view an eagle on a hunt for fish.

Rene was very responsive and gave very clear instructions on things. Place was very neatly put together and the area is very beautiful for a getaway.

This place is literally a piece of heaven! During our stay, we had a full frontal of the frozen lake, it was pure magic! Waking up to the beautiful view of the lake was magic. If you are trying to disconnect, relax, reconnect with your loved one, this is your spot! The details in this rental were to die for! From the beautiful kitchen, to the rooms, there is not a single spot in this rental that was overlooked by design!! There is also ample space outside to hang out and grill! It was a beautiful and relaxing winter stay, the host was extremely responsive, even went out his way to grab allergy medicine for me through one of the snowy days.. thank you so much for your kindness! This place is absolutely heaven! I am definitely coming back!

we love Walkers place and do come here twice a year. it's a beautiful home, it's so zen, so pretty, so clean, we just absolutely love it. it's a great fabulous house and spot to stay. ♥️

This tiny, cozy space was exactly what we needed for an overnight place to relax and sleep, with a kitchen for us to make our coffee in the morning. We also felt we would have been quite comfortable there if we had needed to stay for a few days. The host was kind, responsive, friendly, respectful, and genuine. We will definitely stay here again. And the view! Gorgeous.

I want to start by saying that the host is beyond kind. Jack is a stand up guy and the perfect host. I do not think we could have been more fortunate to choose this house. The backyard amenities are stunning. Sitting on the dock outside was incredible. A family of swans lives close to the house and we would watch them in the mornings. The hot tub was such a nice bonus. Jack clearly takes great care to ensure that his guests feel welcomed and at home and I could not appreciate his kindness any more than I already do. I truly can not wait to come back and stay again as this weekend was really one to remember. We thank you Jack for an amazing experience and we’ll see you again real soon!

This is my second stay in the past two weeks - I highly recommend this spot. It’s private and beautiful. A quick drive to Bedford, and local restaurants are right down the road. The place is spotless, fully stocked and Fred is a great host. He’s so nice!
