Ideally suited to guests who like nature, the countryside and walking, there are no nightclubs. The West Somerset Heritage Steam Railway can be seen from the hut and is accesible. Located between the Quantock Hills (AONB), Exmoor and the dramatic West Somerset coastline, this quirky property offers a unique base from which to relax or explore. The property offers comfortable, open-plan living upstairs benefitting from a sun-trap, south-facing balcony garden, complete with 6-person hot tub. Well-behaved dogs allowed, please book them in.

Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. Cassia is a bespoke Shepherds Hut, constructed August 2021. Situated on Stockland marshes perfect for walking and bird watching , a quiet retreat to get away from it all. The coast is five minutes drive away. This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders, migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
