Dear Hortensia, We had a very good Holy Week at your house. The house is beautiful and does not lack any detail. We were very comfortable and felt right at home from the moment you came out to greet us and show us where the house was. Your kindness, affection and goodness have made our stay an incredible experience. You even invited us to eat roast chicken at your house and gave us typical local products to try. The house was pristine when we arrived and it had everything. Beds made, new towels, fresh oranges, bread, honey and all with a smile and very good manners. We enjoyed watching them make a bun in the "forno" and they explained where to go and where to eat. A sweetheart. I recommend this house 100% especially because of Hortensia's warmth. He even gave me a typical Portuguese tablecloth. Amazing stay and wonderful owner. Thank you very much, Hortensia.

It was just wonderful to visit the Douro region – and especially to be a guest of José and his family. The house is situated in a quiet, idyllic village location and is furnished in a charming country house style. We felt incredibly comfortable from the first moment. After just two days, we felt like we had been living in this wonderful house forever. The evenings in front of the crackling fireplace, with a glass of port wine from José's own vineyard, were unforgettable. José and his family fulfilled our every wish with their warm nature and attention and made our stay simply perfect. An absolute highlight is the wine tasting at José's – an experience not to be missed! We sincerely hope that we can return one day and enjoy your fantastic port wine with you. Amazing place with a breathtaking view of the Douro! In addition, possibility of kayaking!! This place is sublime and very soothing.

We had some fantastic and relaxing days in Nagozelo. The views from the house are breathtaking, the quietness... exactly what we were looking for. Comfy house, perfect for a couple but also for friends or family trips. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable experience! What a wonderful place in the mountains. The view and farm is unique and I enjoyed it every minute of it. Pedro is a fantastic host, best I have ever stayed at. He took hours out of his time to teach us about his culture, his land, his wine, and olive oil he produces. He was so much better than all the tastings we went to out in Douro and Dao and has such a cool cellar tasting room. The house is perfect and has every touch you need. We had a fire one night outside and all the stars were out. Just the entire farm itself is perfect for a great hike. I could write for hours about how great this place is. Thank you so much Pedro for the experience and wonderful stay at your place. Lastly, the breakfast is great, the eggs are from the chickens on the farm, oranges from the orange trees on the farm, etc, true farm to table every morning.
