The house was perfect. The area around the house was even better. It's an awesome option to stay away from noise and rush. The assistance was also great. All our questions were answered in advance and during the stay. I highly recommend this place, and I'll be glad to come back. Note: there are up to 5 big dogs outside the house. If you're planning to come with your dogs, keep in mind that it will be difficult/impossible to spend time with them outside.

It was just wonderful to visit the Douro region – and especially to be a guest of José and his family. The house is situated in a quiet, idyllic village location and is furnished in a charming country house style. We felt incredibly comfortable from the first moment. After just two days, we felt like we had been living in this wonderful house forever. The evenings in front of the crackling fireplace, with a glass of port wine from José's own vineyard, were unforgettable. José and his family fulfilled our every wish with their warm nature and attention and made our stay simply perfect. An absolute highlight is the wine tasting at José's – an experience not to be missed! We sincerely hope that we can return one day and enjoy your fantastic port wine with you. We are delighted with this choice, it was a night but it allowed us a few more hours to enjoy the place, its pool, barbecue… the host was very friendly, attentive and always with his best disposition. Highly recommended

Excellent accommodation and excellent hosts. The house is spacious, very comfortable and with all amenities for a quiet stay. Located in the historic area of Bragança, the accesses are not the best, but the indications given by the hosts have helped a lot. The river Fervença running right next to it gives you a special touch. I recommend it and will be back.

Pedro was a fabulous host. He was a great travel guide. The breakfasts provided were delicious and there was plenty for lunch or picnics during the day. The sheets and laundry were done and ironed upon request. The scenery from our two balconies and generous patio was second to none, overlooking olive groves, orange groves and grapevines. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances. We purchased some wonderful wine from Pedro's farm. Highly recommend, Frank and Dianne
