Very pleasant space, with a privileged view of the mountains, a very quiet place ideal for a weekend of rest and to escape the routine. Very clean cabin with everything you need for a weekend.

A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

I loved the place!!! The lady who attended to us was super friendly and attentive, I was celebrating my birthday and she left a little gift for me🤍, I was super happy and amazed at everything! It was a very pleasant surprise! It really is on high, it has phenomenal landscapes !! I loved it and highly recommend it! I'm just grateful for the hospitality

The accommodation is beautiful, located in the deep nature and is a fantastic place to take a break. Alexandrina was so nice to us, she is a very smart person and gave us some of her knowledge in the form of alternative therapies. A fantastic person and a great stay

It's an amazing place😍 to fully enjoy nature, sleep with the sound of the river in the background and wake up with the beautiful view of the trees. It's spectacular, the cabins are beautiful, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the pool, Manuela is a wonderful host, attentive, very kind and close, we felt right at home. I'll definitely repeat the experience.

An ideal place for family vacations. Our 3 year old son was delighted with the casita and the animals, I didn't want to say goodbye to them. We'll be back for sure!

Great view and privacy!

We had such a lovely stay here! The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and the stay is even better than the photos. We played tennis, minigolf, jeu de boules and more. We also had a swim in the nice pool. The highlight is the terrace with the amazing view, the outdoor kitchen and the sweetest dogs. I can highly recommend this place, we will come back for sure!

The cabin itself is spotless, well-equipped, and designed to make you feel at home from the moment you step inside. The warm wooden interiors, crackling fireplace, and breathtaking views from every window are like something out of a dream. The outdoor spaces are equally enchanting—whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch, enjoying the serene surroundings, or stargazing at night, every moment feels special. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, just as they did the first time. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel truly cared for.

When we arrived at the property we immediately felt relaxed and at peace - the view is simply incredible ! The outside terrace is big with beautiful views and plenty of seating, a BBQ, heated lamps etc. Inside is spacious - a good kitchen, a lovely record player, lots of sofas. The location is great - you are so close to so many amazing outdoor activities - we really enjoyed exploring the rivers, mountain walks and the Lagoons ! Many thanks !

This is a very comfortable, well-equipped cabin for two, with or without a couple of kids, in a spectacular location with access to a nice swimming pool. Very recommendable.

It was us and our two dogs. It's a small but very cozy cabin with good views. If you are going with a dog be aware that there are cats in the area and that it is not fenced, if they are adventurous as mine can end up on the road. Very clean, groomed and rustic. It has a small barbecue and outdoor dining area that we used a lot. Zé and Paula are lovely. I will repeat but no dogs.

The space. is located in the mountains of Viana do Castelo in a very quiet location. The area invites you to hike. Those who want to can also discover the wild horses in the mountains here. Or have the hosts show you with the Cheep. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need. The hostess quickly answers all your questions. Loved it.

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. The cabin is very nice and is in a very quiet area, quiet but just minutes from downtown Gerês. Good natural light and peace

Perfect home for a few days of rest with friends or family! Spacious, well maintained and with lots of green space. Access to the house is simple and the property is not far from the center of Braga, which facilitates tours and access to supermarkets and other services.

For more than 10 years on Airbnb I have never seen such a kind and caring host! Isabel is very responsive to questions asked! The accommodation is in a peaceful location facing the mountains very close to Gères National Park. The swimming pool is a real plus! So there are beautiful walks and different activities nearby ( waterfall, quad biking, buggy, jet, pedal boat). I recommend it without hesitating! ☀️

Excellent stay in the beautiful chalet of Retiro dos Barbosas. It is very well located, with views of Lake Caniçada. It is also very comfortable and perfectly equipped. The private pool is a plus to cool off after hiking in the nearby Peneda-Gerês Park. Jessica, who welcomed us, is very pleasant and responsive.

Everything went very well. Our Snowy (dog) loved the space too. We loved the space and the barbecue, we were able to enjoy the late afternoon and evening in a totally quiet environment. We just think the mattress needs to be replaced with a more comfortable one. If we go back there, it'll be on our list.
