Vacation rentals with lake access in Bowmanville

We stayed for a week and it was a comfortable stay. The house is clean. The host is very thoughtful in accomodating the guests as throughout the house there were sticky notes with instructions. The house has all the necessary amenities, though we did not use the laundry and did no cooking but everything was there in case we needed it. The area is quite peaceful. Overall, we had a good experience.

Very nice apartment and we felt very welcomed - the walk by the water and the area was beautiful. So nice and friendly and would love to stay again next time we stop by. Nice furniture, bedding , comfortable bed , bathroom - everything we needed was available for us to use.

This was our second stay at Zafar's place. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The accommodation is very clean and well stocked. It is close to the lake and in a quiet neighborhood. We would certainly book it again.

The house was beautiful and cozy and my friends enjoyed the stay! Each bedroom was lovely and the bathroom was great. Unfortunately the transit routes were a lot longer than expected (it takes 2 hours and 15 mins on average by public transport so be warned) I would highly recommend this place if you drive.

Wonderful stay, didn't get a chance to meet the husband but Annette was lovely. Welcoming, inclusive and warm hearted. One of my kids had a little oopsy and she was more than understanding! Would highly recommend to anyone. thank you for the treats, it was an absolute pleasure!

My wife and baby daughter spent a nice weekend here. The place is really nice with everything at you'll need for a stay. The view of the lake is really something to wake up to. We enjoyed most of our time on the private deck across the road. It's definitely a very good option for a relaxing weekend.

Hosts were amazing! The place exceeded my expectations. Minor things. People who wrote about noise it was minor footsteps, a fan on we could hear. We had a 5yr old kid who was equally noisy at times. I 100% recommend this place. Beautiful Marina, waterpark for kids and beach to walk. The best was how prepared this airbnb was. Everything you need in kitchen was there, extra towels for washroom showers, blankets, pillows, parking etc! Only surprise for my partner was that there was a connecting door to upstairs unit. Its locked and protected so safety wasn’t a concern. Thanks for an amazing couple days! The master bed was so comfy! We will be back!

Had a great stay for my birthday weekend and the house was the perfect spot for a group to have nice family dinners and a great basement with lots of activities . Boris was great at communicating and sharing local suggestions for food. The only downfall was the hot tub is on a timer and turns off in the evening. For a group of adults It felt a bit disappointing that we couldn’t have a quiet nighttime hot tub and weren’t pretold so spent some time thinking it was broken. We would recommend though as everything else was great

My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The space was even better than the photos - bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed with everything you could need for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, peaceful and private, making it a great spot to relax and spend quality time with loved ones. We were 8 guys (with possible of more) coming to see a sick friend who is unfortunately nearing the end of life. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. The weekend was quite cold but the place was welcoming enough that we mostly stayed inside and caught up with old friends. We had a lovely girls weekend at Cheryl’s place. She was extremely responsive leading up to and during our stay. In the middle of an ice storm, she ensured the snow removers were sent to de-ice the walkways. And the generator was a MASSIVE advantage as the power was out everywhere for our stay. Great main room with cozy couch and fun board games and cards to keep us entertained as we pivoted to an indoor weekend. Peaceful spot on the water. Would love to come back in warmer months to enjoy the sauna and when the dock is in the water.

Fantastic cottage for a large group! Lots of space, lots of amenities and activities to do, well stocked kitchen, etc etc. The place was really clean and beds were comfortable. The host was helpful and communicative, especially as we were met with some extenuating weather conditions during the stay and host supported us through it. Lots of parking space and big backyard on the water. Highly recommended.

James is a very responsible and helpful host. We have a water shortage issue caused by the bad weather during our stay. James helped us with the problem and responded very efficiently. Nice view and good environment. I recommend the place!

Great location at the north end of Scugog Island. Walking trails at the end of the street about 100 meters away were great for walking dogs and exploring. Beautiful lakefront views in well appointed AirBnb. All the amenities you would need and more. We had a family gathering, and were able to fully function and cook and enjoy the space. Coffee provider with Keurig, tea and sugar and cooking oil. All the little things you need but are often missing from AirBnb rentals. The house was well laid out and people could enjoy the downstairs area where we did some crafts and played Foosball. Would be even more amazing in the summer with the large deck that wraps around the house. Very nice spot. Feels like a home not an AirBnb sterile empty unit.

Tahani was a extremely kind and communicative host. Very peaceful stay. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets to be had. Enjoyed our stay!
