The Cavier Windmills of Montreuil-Bellay are part of the heritage of this charming medieval town. Built a few years before the storms of the French Revolution, they have stood the test of time, watching over the magnificent lands of Anjou through the centuries of French history. Beautifully restored, the main windmill welcomes you for a timeless stay beneath its lofty tuffeau stone vaults. The Count of Monte Cristo had his wondrous cave to guard his treasures — the land of Saumur offers you its own, inviting you to a suspended moment in time, nestled in the heart of History like in a fairytale cocoon. But let’s explore the estate together! A large main room first greets you — ideal for big meals or family gatherings — before leading you to a cozy lounge nestled beneath the mill’s ancient vaulted ceiling. On either side, two warm and comfortable bedrooms await you, offering a direct view of the vineyards when you wake. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed; the second, a double bed (190x160 cm). A mezzanine — a charming nook furnished in soft oriental tones — overlooks the lounge and provides extra sleeping space for larger families. A few steps further, and you reach the rooftop terrace, where a panoramic view of the vineyards and the Montreuil castle awaits. A fully equipped kitchen and a small bathroom provide all the modern conveniences to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Outside, beneath the blessed shade of a mulberry tree, a spacious terrace awaits your summer evenings and feasts. All around, the estate’s vineyards invite you to stroll and watch the sunset. Convenient parking spaces are available, making the Domaine an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful Saumur region. Located in the Anjou wine region, this rustic 100m2 cottage equipped with all modern amenities is part of an old winegrowers property called 'Closerie Les Roches' that includes two other cottages. We are close to charming villages and towns such as Montreuil-Bellay and Saumur. Visit local wineries, explore famous Loire valley castles, visit the award-winning Doué-la-Fontaine zoo or just stroll among the vines right outside the property. We also offer dinner for our guests twice a week.

In the charming village of Turquant and in the heart of the vineyards is our pretty estate dating from the 14th century, and our independent cottage overlooking the Loire and its valley. The living room and its charming kitchen with panoramic views and its romantic bedroom upstairs will seduce you. Outside you can enjoy a hillside garden with a nice terrace with a magnificent view. The Refuge

Within the Domaine de l'Enchantoir, our organic vineyard, stay in our Refuge, a 4-room apartment completely renovated and designed for your comfort. It is on the 1st floor of our old 15th century Logis. This apartment consists of 3 bedrooms. The kitchen opens onto the living room. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. Outdoor table, pool table and reading room for relaxation. Bed linen, towels, soaps, shower gel and shampoo included.

A well-equipped gite sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom The two upstairs bedrooms have zip and link beds, so they can be set up as two single beds or one super king bed. They share a toilet and shower room. Relax within 7 acres of outside space, including a heated outdoor pool (shared with Poplar House and heated from mid-May to mid-September), table tennis, badminton and bikes.
