House vacation rentals in Bottom Bay

Marisa’s villa is very big and spacious with a lovely private pool which was great. Marisa was really quick to respond to queries before our stay and Jason our local host was on hand whenever we needed anything. Really can’t fault the support from hosts. In particular the flexibility with check out time was great as we didn’t have to worry about where we’d need to wait until our flight, The villa itself it very spacious, airy and well equipped. The area is very nice and quiet, no issues at all. The aircon in bedrooms allowed for rooms to be nice and cool overnight and there were ample fans throughout the house. The only thing I’d mention is the worms which were present throughout house but this wasn’t the fault of host as it’s the season. It just meant we had to try clearing them everyday in the evening which was annoying but as I mentioned it’s not the host fault. All in all a great stay, we also loved watching the planes land from the front of house!

Fantastic house, beautiful west facing views for sunset over the sea, really close to Fish Pot restaurant with beach and pier to swim off. The house itself is even better than the photos, and the rooms are all to a high spec with aircon and lots of space. We liked being at the quieter end of the island, it's very private and quiet. David and Chris were excellent hosts, Chris was very helpful and gave us suggestions for lunch restaurants on the beaches. Would highly recommend and stay again, thank you.

Can't say enough good things about this place! The house had everything we needed for our family of five adults to enjoy our first trip to Barbados. From the moment we checked in until the time we left, Kiana was there for us if we needed anything. The house itself is in great condition with nice bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and outdoor spaces. We cooked multiple meals in the well appointed kitchen, utilized the outdoor grill, and spent a couple of evenings enjoying good food, drinks, and music out on the veranda. The outdoor lounging areas and pool turned a very nice rental house into a fantastic getaway for our family. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located near a grocery store, the fish market, and some great restaurants. We even enjoyed hearing our rooster friend next door giving us a crow every now and then and the neighbor's cat who would come by to casually greet us when we would return home. Can't wait to stay here again!

A lovely stay perfectly near everything we needed and nothing more than a walk away. The house was as well equipped as one could want with instructions on everything being so clear - I really can’t fault it and treated the place as I would my own. Very responsive host and house manager if anything was needed - can’t ask for more - 10/10!

The villa was located in a quiet gated community that we found to be in a perfect location. It was a short drive from the coast, restaurants, and shopping. The villa was clean, spacious, and had an amazing sunset view and private pool perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring the island. Mark was very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and would not hesitate return.

Ann is an exceptional host. Ann demonstrated great flexibility and responsiveness from our initial pre booking enquiries all the way through to our checking out after 13 wonderful days in Ann’s beautiful home. Upon arrival Ann took great care to explain everything we needed to know about the property, how things worked, the refuge regime, local information etc etc. As a host Ann’s overriding concern was for our enjoyment throughout our stay. Ann is in no way condescending as one previous reviewer suggested, Ann is simply a thorough, thoughtful and warm host. The property itself is truly fully equipped, very spacious, spotlessly clean and if anything is even better than the photographs suggest. The views are wonderful, the locality extremely convenient being within easy walking distance of a good sized supermarket, lovely sandy beach and very good restaurants. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Villa Sophara.

Everything was as described and the place was beautiful. The beach was at the bottom of the driveway. Kirk was very responsive and made instructions as well as check-in and check-out very seamless. Will be booking again!

The house was simply idyllic. Spacious, well-equipped and surrounded by a lush, well-maintained garden. It is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood frequently visited by monkeys and birds. Our children could stay all day in the plunge pool. The kitchen had all kind of appliances and tools needed to prepare family meals. Air-conditioning and mosquito nets also contributed to a comfortable stay. The biggest star is undeniably Sue - a wonderful host, always full of tips and with a great sense of humour. It was great to exchange gardening experience with her. Hope her climbing roses, which she planned to plant, become another success!

We stayed here very last minute as the other air bnb we booked wasn’t suitable. Andrew did everything possible to make it feel like home. It was perfect for us , the outdoor space was so peaceful and the beach only a short distance away. The space was immaculate and the beds super comfy. We would definitely recommend and return again.

We miss this house already!! The pictures do not completely compliment how gorgeous this place looks from the inside and outside! The house is spacious and very clean. The view and surroundings are just breathtaking! The morning sunrise is so beautiful and peaceful. The staff is friendly and super helpful, overall excellent services! Restaurants, stores are just a 10-15 minute drive away from the house. Food delivery options are great, however you can also cook your own meals in the spacious kitchen. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy Barbados in all peace and quite and explore the island by car. The sea in front of the house is wild and great for surfers, the quieter blue beaches where you can relax, swim, snorkel are just 10-20 min away. We have enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Wonderful house in a local, friendly neighborhood only 10 minutes by bus to the busy tourist hub. The welcome basket was amazing - the personal touch that makes a house a home! The house is roomy and well appointed with AC in the bedrooms and living room. Excellent water pressure for showers, and the outdoor pool was appreciated for cooling off. The small touches and attention to comfort was evident throughout the home. Very comfie beds! Shirrell was immediately responsive any time we needed to reach out, including our sudden early departure back to Canada. We felt supported throughout our stay, knowing our host would assist as/if needed. We used the space a lot, particularly for working while there and the house functions quite well for this. The only drawback and completely outside the host's control are the six dogs next door that do not stop barking, whining, and scrapping for many many hours each day and well into the evening. Thanks again for being amazing Shirrell!!

The apartment is front apt in 8 min walk from rhe last bus stop in Speighstown. Beautiful beaches are 7-8 min away. And probably 10-12 min to the bars/restaurants/ grocery stores part of the town. Very functional kitchen, modern stove if you are into cooking on vacation:-)), all necessities to prepare meal. Spacious and functional furniture. Place is very quiet and the neighbour's are very nice and friendly always saying hello. Debbie is very accommodating, arranging earlier chckin in and flexible check out. We loved the apartment !

Turtle Reef has been my lengthy stay in Barbados for many years. We refer to it as our home from home. The decor is totally my taste and is totally conducive to why it suits myself and my special needs daughter. John and Shirley are the perfect hosts.

We had a great stay at Terry’s Airbnb. The location is great for Oistins/Worthing and close to pebbles and Miami Beach. The location is very peaceful and we felt very safe in the area. Terry was always so responsive and was on hand with all my queries which was so helpful when planning. There is also a washer dryer and a large garden which was a life saver travelling with 2 young kids.

Valcia's place exceeded expectations. Our stay was wonderful. The home is beautiful with all the amenities that we needed to make our stay comfortable. Air-conditioning in every room, 2 & 1/2 bathrooms, washer & dryer, flat screen TV, beautiful kitchen, security cameras, remote control gate, keyless entry, microwave, electric kettle, and to top it all off, the host was available by phone to answer any questions we might have. I will definitely be staying here on my return to Barbados, and highly recommend this gorgeous home to anyone who wants the luxury of a home away from home. This place was accurately described and looked like the pictures. Very clean very neat, it’s pretty small but it works. Location was a nice distance from things so I would check what you plan to do if you stay here. Also the neighborhood has dogs that bark constantly and are not quiet at night. Host was nice.

Wir waren 15 Tage Gast bei Sonia und sofort begeistert. Die Beschreibung war absolut zutreffend. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, nicht überladen und alles sehr sauber. Alle Elektrogeräte inkl. der beiden Klimaanlagen funktionierten einwandfrei. Die Küche ist prima ausgestattet. Beim Frühstücken auf der Terrasse konnten wir Papageien, Kolibris, Vögel und sogar Affen auf dem Grundstück beobachten. Bei der Einrichtung wurde an alles gedacht: 2 Strandstühle, Strandtücher, Sonnenschirm mit Bodenhalterung, eine große Kühlbox mit Eisakkus und sogar ein Trolley mit dem man alles zu Fuß bequem zum 6-8 min entfernten Strand rollen konnte. Das Bodyboard war ein richtiges Hightlight. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, da es ein Endgrundstück in einer kleinen Straße ist. Wir empfehlen ein Auto um Einkäufe zu erledigen und die Insel und Strände zu erkunden. Ein großes Lob gilt auch Joycelin, die uns 2x sehr geholfen hat. Einzig ein Safe wäre wünschenswert. Wir freuen uns schon auf nächstes Mal!!

Very good position across from a beautiful beach. Sun loungers provided to take with us and beach towels. Donna is lovely and communication was easy. The garage nearby was reasonably priced for essentials. I would recommend CCs on a Monday night, lovely food and good entertainment, we danced on the beach! A trip to Speightstown is also a must do ..try Kaboose for a fish cutter lunch.

we Loved the place and would like to come back !we would prefer to have 2 new Mattresses as one was very old and the other one very soft.And a new Smoothie machine as this one is water coming out into the machine .As we are first time on Barbados we needed a bit time to feel at home but now after almost 3 weeks we got a good idea about the island ❤️we always happy to come home to the house.Very beautiful and spacious and if you like cooking al is there .I loved the views the colours the wind and the flowers and the little visit from The Dog and cat .We visited big Resorts but if you like it more simple you are very good here .You are private but there is no Airco and swimming at Bottom Bay is not every day possible but we went a few times !It is ca 20 min drive to everywhere if you like to drive on these roads on your holidays .I love to rest here and then go on adventure again . Best breakfast view and beautiful view ever from the Terrace ❤️

Bodie’s place is in a stunning location, just opposite the beach at Bathsheba. We stayed for 3 nights to chill before coming home to the UK after visiting family. The view from the new decking is memorising - this area made the place for me, it’s a great addition. I spent hours lying on the deck, taking in the view. It’s a short walk to Dina’s, The Roundhouse & other places for food/drinks, both are reasonably priced. There is a bus stop right outside & buses past by often. The house is cosy with a cute beach theme. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you would expect. Only thing missing was a tea towel. The bedding was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A/C worked well. We met Bodie who was very friendly and accommodating, offering us a late check out at no extra cost. He told us there was a surf competition in the Soup Bowl which we wandered across to watch, using the beach chairs provided. If you’re a surfer, or just love Bathsheba, this place is perfect.

We spent 3 months Kason and Dawn's airbnb. We loved being in a typical Bajan neighbourhood. The airbnb is in a quiet neighbourhood at the end of a dead end street, so no traffic. There is a lovely outdoor sitting area and we spent many hours sitting out enjoying the lovely evenings. The home was a great home away from home. The beds are comfortable. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms and livingroom/kitchen and it works great. The kitchen has the basics for preparing meals. The car was fabulous and gave us the freedom to explore the island and see all the usual tourist places but also many local gems. The cleaner came bi-weekly which for a long term stay was awesome, who wants to do housework. Would recommend the place without hesitation.

We’re so glad we chose to stay at this stunning villa in such a prime location in Barbados. Just minutes away from Alleynes Bay and several other breathtakingly clear beaches, it truly couldn’t have been more ideal. The villa itself was beautifully designed, spotless, and fully equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our hosts were incredibly responsive, offered fantastic recommendations, and went out of their way to make our stay special. The villa is situated in a modern, safe, and beautifully developed community built by some of Barbados’ finest builders. If you’re planning a trip to Barbados, don’t think twice, this is the perfect place to stay!

We had a fantastic vacation at the hideaway villa! The backyard is very private and we were visited daily by green monkeys that would come and eat the fruit from the tree in the yard. We did not rent a car instead we used a local driver named Laura Hunte she was a wonderful asset to our time in Barbados. We used Chefette delivery services for meals when we were not out and about! Oistins fish fry was a a lot of fun on Friday night! We would definitely come again!

I can’t say enough great things about my stay. I LOVE the space! The home was tranquil. It’s clear that Natasha puts her love and positivity into creating a welcoming and cozy environment for her guests. Perfect location for walking to the beach and beachfront restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors friendly. The bedrooms were comfortable and I loved the open windows and backyard balcony. The roosters were chatty throughout the night, however, I found their chatter soothing and I slept peacefully. If you’re sensitive to noise, take advantage of the ear plugs that are available or bring some noise canceling earbuds. I’ll definitely be visiting again and look forward to working with Natasha again!
